Gemma slides her slightly sticky foot back into her shoe and gets up to grab you some napkins and a glass of water from the bar.

"That's a real fucked up thing to do, Alex," she says, tossing the napkins onto the table in front of you. "I mean, what you do to Kevin is kinda fucked up, but Mrs Reed is a real sweet woman."

"You're going to stop me?" you ask, wiping yourself clean with the help of some water.

"If I was so strongly against you, I wouldn't have just finished you off," Gemma says, leaning back in the booth and taking a sip of her drink. "No, you can do whatever you like. There are people who do fucked up things every single hour of the day all over the world, and there's nothing I can do about it. This is no different. In a couple of days, I'll be a long way away from here, floating in the ocean with my husband, and there's a good chance I'll never ever come back."
