What Lisa thinks about the Laughing Man.

The newcomer stood maybe 7' tall. He had powerful body that any bear would be proud of. He had a thick head of brown hair and thick full beard. His shirt sleeves were rolled up and the front was partially open revealing that he was equaly hairy over the rest of his body.

"Trouble Dan?" the newcomer asked.

"Not at the fucking moment." Dan replied.

The newcomer took up station by the door.

"Thats Pete?" Lisa asked Dan.

"Yeah." replied Dan. "Now back to my fucking question."

Lisa took another drink of coffee and thought about Pete. She guessed that she would fair better against the Laughing Man's 3 guards than Pete. Lisa thought about how to best answer Dan.

"They are a nicer operation than yours." Lisa told Dan.

"And what does that fucking tell you?" Dan asked Lisa.

"When did they start up?" Lisa asked.

"About a fucking year ago." answered Dan.

"And the Lynchers?" asked Lisa.

"About 2 or 3 fucking months after that." Dan told Lisa.

"Well theres no evidence of anything," Lisa explained "but my guess is that the Laughing Man and Black Lynchers are connected."

Lisa jumped as Dan slammed a hand on the table.

"Would seem you got a brain in that fucking pretty head of yours." Dan told Lisa. "Just don't fucking think yourself into an early fucking grave."

"We all done?" Dan asked Lisa.

Lisa nodded in the affirmative.

"Good then I can get back to fucking Bridget."

As he rose Lisa dropped another $10 on the table.

"Whats that for?" Dan asked.

"Loss of income" Lisa explained "and a round for everyone who was inconvenienced by our talk."

Dan looked at the money.

"It'll be another fucking $10 to cover all that." Dan told Lisa.

Lisa shook her head a slight smile on her face. She fished into her pocket, pulled out another $10 and dropped it on the table.

Dan nodded his head and Davey swooped in and recovered the money.

"Everybody." Dan called out to the doorway. "Saloons open again. First drinks on the deputy."

Lisa finished her coffee as the saloon quickly filled up. Dan returned to his back room. Lisa then left to finish her patrol...
