What's going on with the prof?

Ross and Madison reentered the living room, with Madison rubbing her head and looking dazed. The new Erica was chatting amicably about her CV with the old Erica and Andrew.

"...that said, I'm capable of teaching most subjects at an undergrad level," she explained. "Ah! Your friends are back. It's very unusual to be talking to a naked woman who looks exactly like me, you know?"

"Yeah, I get it," the previous Erica said. "Especially now that we have the same name."

"Not for long!" the new one said with a chuckle. "In any case, I suppose you two are here to test me? I've been going over some of my credentials with Andrew and Erica. What else would you like to see?"

"Today's lesson plan," Andrew said. The sun was just breaking over the horizon. "You'll need to deliver it for real in a couple of hours. I want to see you get through it now."

"Sure! Do you have a whiteboard?"

Ross nodded and went back to his room. A few moments later, he re-emerged with a small whiteboard and a handful of pens. Erica frowned at the relatively tiny board.

"What is this, 2 foot square? I guess I'll have to make it work. It'll be like teaching math inside a phone booth!"

With that, she started her lecture. It was surreal to see this ersatz version of their beloved professor calmly lecturing a group that included a naked clone of her, but she performed flawlessly. About ten minutes in, both of the boys had nodded off and Andrew was snoring loudly. She paused when Ross farted loudly and Madison giggled.

"Typical," the Ericas said in unison.

"I think you're ready to go," the original said as she stood. "And I think these guys are ready to go to bed. It's been a long night for their poor fleshy human brains."

"Sounds great!" the new professor said before slumping to the ground loosely. Madison quickly inserted the default script and she rose again, smiling blandly at nothing. "I'll get her to her office," she told the original. "You make sure these two get to bed."

Erica nodded and tapped Ross's shoulder. He sat up with a snort and looked around blearily.

"What? I- sorry, I must have dozed off..."

"You two pulled an all-nighter on this," Erica said with a chuckle. "You need sleep. Go lay down."

Too tired to object, Ross nodded and slunk off towards his room. He was asleep before his head hit the pillow. Erica turned to the slumbering Andrew and smiled, already thinking of the fun she could have with him.
