What job does she pick?

Wet Nurse

Vanessa scrolled through the job listings looking for something interesting. The many options were quite overwhelming for the young woman, so after a bit of aimless searching, she decided to set herself some goals. Vanessa grabbed a piece of paper, took her favorite pen and started to scribble down her thoughts.

The job should be something she had never done before, so she could gain new experiences and learn something, she thought. It also should not be too demanding time-wise, so she could still enjoy the summer break. Vanessa furrowed her brows, thinking hard about other requirements. Her eyes lit up as she whispered, "Of course!" to no one in particular and jotted down the last and most important requirement: Whatever she chose, the job should be of relevance to society, something valuable and emotionally inspiring. In short, it should be something to be proud of.

With these new guiding principles in place, she looked through the job postings once again. Unsurprisingly, most of the listings didn't meet her newly established demands. In fact, almost none did pass the test. Except for one. And that one was rather surprising and quite intriguing.

"Wet Nurse urgently required"

For what felt like the tenth time, Vanessa read through the job offer again. The text sounded incredibly urgent, like "Tiny, innocent babies will die if you don't respond this second!" urgent.

In the past minutes, the young woman had learned so much stuff about this new subject. She now knew that many mothers of newborns had trouble providing enough milk for their kids and were in **** need of a substitute. And while many just purchased some off-the-shelf industrial formula to feed their new offspring, a lot of the parents wanted the 'real thing' instead and thus were asking for true, natural mother's milk. She had also learned that any woman could theoretically become a wet nurse, pregnant or not, and that there was well-researched, risk-free medication available to help things along. In addition, the time commitment for such a wet nurse seemed quite manageable. It all sounded so easy!

Vanessa, her face flush and her heart fluttering in excitement, responded to the request immediately, and happily offered her help with this important task. She not only responded to all the questions in the form truthfully but also took her time to explain her own background in minute detail. Never had she been so sure about doing the right thing.
