Wendy lays down the law

As you and Wendy enter the kitchen, you see Cathy just as you left her, sipping her tea in a tank top and jogging shorts. You find the sight of it to be incredibly sexy, but Wendy gasps at the sight of it. You don't understand why at first, until Wendy yells, "Catherine Owens, put that mug down this instant!"

Cathy flinches at the shouting, and she sets the mug down on the counter without apparently thinking about it. She then glares back at Wendy and says, "Mommy, what has gotten into you?"

You snicker, and Cathy's eyes go wide as she realizes what she just called her daughter. Wendy just frowns and says in the overly sweet tone you would use with a small child, "I'm sorry for yelling like that sweetie, but that tea is too hot right now. I don't want you spilling it and burning yourself."

"I'm a grown woman Mommy, and-" Cathy starts, then blinking and saying, "I... I mean Mommy. I mean Mommy! Mommy!"

"You're not acting like a grown-up right now, Cathy," Wendy said, putting her hands on her hips and frowning, "Besides, even big girls are careful when drinking something that hot. Just let it cool a little more and then you can drink it."

"Wh-What?" Cathy said, now looking very confused, "Why are you talking to me like that?"

"Like what, dear?" Wendy asks, cocking your head as you do your best to avoid laughing.

"Like I'm a little girl!" Cathy says, "I am your mother, Mommy, even though I keep calling you Mommy for some reason!"

"Because I am your mother, Cathy," Wendy replies, "And you are my little girl, no matter how big you get. It's just how mommies are."

Cathy looks at her daughter, now mother, in shock, "That's... what is wrong with you, Mommy! I'm your mother, not the other way around!" She looks at you and says, "Dylan, what's wrong with Mommy?"

You take a breath to avoid breaking out in laughter, then say to her, "Nothing's wrong with your mom, Cathy. She's just trying to keep you safe."

"And I'm not in the mood for your mommy game right now, Cathy," Wendy says sternly, "Especially after the stunt you just pulled. Dylan is not going anywhere, so you're just going to have to get used to him being here."

Cathy keeps looking at you, and for a moment you believe that she might have figured out what you were behind this. But her gaze then shifts to Wendy, still looking incredibly confused as she asks, "Get used to him?"

"That's right," Wendy replies, "I know you don't like it, but he and I are married now, which means he is your new Daddy. I know it's hard for you, but-"

"Married?!?" Cathy shrieks, "What... when... how...?"

"Cathy, don't start throwing a tantrum now," Wendy says, "You've had a month to get used to this, and..."

"No!" Cathy yells, though you notice that her voice is much lower and unsure now than it was a second ago, "You aren't married to him, Mommy! And you aren't my mom! This is all wrong!"

"Catherine Owens, you will stop yelling this instant!" Wendy snaps, "You can deny it all you want, but that won't change the truth! If you want to be treated like a big girl, you need to act like one."

Cathy opens her mouth, then looks down at the floor, then says, "This is all wrong... I need to call..." she reaches into her pocket and mutters, "Wait, where's my phone? I had it a moment ago..."

"You're too young for a phone," you tell her, "We'll get you one when you're older. Much older."

"Older?" Cathy asks, "I'm 42 years old!"

"Honey, we've talked about this," Wendy says gently, "You may have the body of a 42 year old woman, but you're still only 3. I know it hasn't been easy for you to live like this, but I'm doing my best to give you a normal childhood."

Cathy shakes her head, now starting to look frightened, "No, I'm not 3! I'm not!"

"Catherine," Wendy says in a scolding tone, "You are this close to earning yourself a punishment."

Cathy doesn't acknowledge her 'mother', insead walking past the two of you, "I've got to get out of here..."

Curious as to what will happen, you watch as Catherine makes a break for the front door. She almost makes it, but suddenly stops about half a foot from the door, in some kind of fear from a (to her) unknown source. This hesitation gives Wendy the perfect opportunity to grab Cathy by the wrist and drag her back towards the kitchen.

"No! Stop it! Let me go!" Cathy whines, trying to break out of Wendy's grip. But even her struggles do barely anything to slow the new teen mom down.

"No way, missy," Wendy says to her, "I gave you a chance to calm down after your little streaking incident..."

"Streaking?" Cathy says in shock, "How did you find out about...?"

"...but if you want to keep acting this way, I'm afraid I have **** but to give you a proper punishment," Wendy interrupts, not stopping to answer the question. She looks over to you and asks, "Dylan, what do you think would be appropriate? As her new father, I think you should have a say."

"Dylan, please, whatever's going on, help me explain to Mommy this isn't right!" Cathy begs to you in desperation.

You ignore her plea for the moment and think about it. Seeing Wendy punish Cathy would be very entertaining to watch indeed. And thanks to the Sapphire, you can get her to agree to any kind of punishment you want, or even make her think she came up with the 'perfect' idea herself. Alternatively, you could show mercy to the poor confused Cathy... in the sense that you will forego a 'punishment' in favor of simply messing with her mind some more.
