While examining each item more closely, Lex made an interesting discovery. This book was not that special at all. At least, not as special as Evelyn was trying to lead her to believe. She knew she had seen it somewhere recently, but where? She looked to Evelyn, lifting a brow while saying. "Is this some sort of test or joke? I am pretty sure this book is rather common. Sure, you might not be able to find it at a local book store, but I am certain you can order it online for less than a few hundred bucks. Even if it does look like an interesting read. Why else would you present it to me now?"

Evelyn began to smile before breaking out into laughter as her F score ticked up to 30. She lifted up a hand while covering her mouth with the other. This took a few seconds before she finally calmed down enough to answer. "Ah, you are quite the delight you know that? I was hoping I would be able to deceive you, but it looks like the jig is up." She began to pout before pushing the book towards Lex and said. "I didn't expect to lose, but I'll be a good sport and throw it in too." She playfully smiled before looking to the other two items, looking once again to Lex and asked. "So, do we have a deal?"

A new exclamation flashed that Lex allowed to pop up. However, while looking it over, she made a few expression changes to make it look like she was mulling things over.

Lex sighed and said. "All right, you have a deal." With one less option out of the way, Lex looked over the choices once again. There really wasn't much of an choice left. So she made the obvious choice. "I will take the glasses then." Evelyn gasped as a quiver ran through her body, biting her bottom lip to stifle a moan. Lex could see the look of ecstasy upon Evelyn's face before she relaxed enough to say. "Mm, yes, that is an excellent choice. It is, so -moans softly- fun to learning about you." As she spoke she pushed the glasses towards Lex along with that book, taking back the opal afterwards. "Now that we have an understanding. I will go over the details of your task."

Lex took the glasses and that book while opening her inventory with a mental command. She slipped them inside underneath the table while Evelyn began to explain. "Well, I know it isn't much of a disguise, but you'll be going to the local Cross Church. With the loss of my brother to their little cause. They have only four members remaining. Though they are a small group they do have one impressive construct. If it wasn't for that, I would have gotten my phylacteries already from their protected storage room."

She began to pout, letting out a soft breath before continuing to speak. "So your task will be three fold. First you will need to infiltrate their facility. Whether you kill them or not is up to you. Second, you will need to either deactivate or destroy that construct. The third task is rather risky if you don't take out their forces. It is not just a magically warded room, but inside it suppresses magic as well. So while you are inside you won't be able to use any magic to assist you."

She chuckled, touching her right hand's pointer finger to her bottom lip and said. "Mm, if you could actually produce one of those robots within that book I gave you. It would be invaluable to this mission. They reference several impressive advancements to their A.I. functionality, targeting systems, response times, and most importantly their core's shielding. Apparently their specialized core has effectively eliminated all outside interference from affecting its circuits."

Evelyn wrapped her arms around herself as a tremble overtook her. A moment later, she let out a soft moan before relaxing and said. "Mm, but that explains how to get to what you need. I do need to explain what these items look like. As I stated before, there are three of them. A purple sapphire with a thin layer of platinum around its circumference, a black jar with the etching of a heart on the front and a skull on the back, sealed by several talismans, and last, but not least. The last one will sound weird, but I have it on good authority that it is really a phylactery. Um, it is a my little pony lunch box, sealed with several pink bows."

Once Evelyn finished giving the details of this task, a new quest popped up.

Evelyn's Phylacteries

- Deactivate or Destroy the Divine Cross's Stone Construct

- Recover the three phylacteries (Purple sapphire, Black Jar, and Lunch Box)

Reward: 500 xp and Random weapon of Rare Quality

Optional: Do so without killing any living being.

Reward: Enchanted Cloth and Leather x 10 of each, Attuned Sewing Needle, and 1,500 xp

Lex blinked several times while reading that, mentally hitting, 'Accept' before tilting her head slightly and asked. "Seriously, a my little pony lunch box?" Evelyn nodded before shrugging and said. "Apparently the creator really loved the program." Lex felt rather confused by that, but at least this tasked sounded possible. If she could learn that book before setting out, this would likely be a cake walk. Hmm, the only thing she really had to worry about was this construct that Evelyn had mentioned.

Evelyn had a rather naughty expression upon her face. It surprised Lex just how red Evelyn's face was. She was blushing deeply, breathing a bit heavily while watching Lex. Lex blinked and asked. "Is there something on my face?" Evelyn shook her head and bit her bottom lip, saying. "It's just, watching you think is rather sexy." She pulled out a business card from in between her lovely breasts and handed it to Lex while saying. "I would suggest doing this before the end of next week. Here is my private number. Once you have my phylacteries, do give me a call. Oh, and after this task is complete. Maybe we can have some fun too, okay?"

Evelyn got up, closing her compact mirror and placed it in between her cleavage and walked off like they hadn't been having a conversation.

Right when the compact mirror closed, the sound from the mall's food court returned and Lex's phone began to ring.

Lex turned slightly to watch Evelyn leave before turning her attention towards her phone. Her phone's vibrate function was on, vibrating her breasts lightly when its tone filled the air yet again, making her blush. However, before it rang again she reached in to pull it out and answered. "Hello?" A rather worried and upset sounding Bianca started to speak. "Oh thank goodness. I was so worried. When my little device stopped responding, I was worried that woman had done something horrible to you."

Lex blushed, feeling embarrassed yet happy that Bianca was concerned about her. She cleared her throat before saying. "I'm fine, but it would appear I have a job to do this weekend. How about I tell you about it when I get home?" There was a short pause before Bianca's voice cracked, starting to speak while trying not to sound anymore worried as she said. "Sure, I'd like that. J-just be safe, okay?" Sazla's voice called out from the background, saying. "Lex is coming home? Does that mean I am going to get to experience from him what I learned from you earlier?" The phone clicked when Bianca hung-up.

Lex entered Evelyn's number into her phone and tossed that business card away before focusing on what Bianca had said. Lex felt slightly worried by Bianca's tone. She had worried her far more than she expected, but that made sense. She wasn't used to things being this dangerous out here and well. This was the first time she had anyone that felt this way about her. This clearly wasn't a little fuck up either.

She knew she needed to make it up to her, but how? Hmm, she was at the mall. Maybe she should get something nice for Bianca before heading home? Perhaps a perfume bottle? Some flowers? A card that she could write something heartfelt in? Wait, Bianca was a succubus. Maybe Lex could buy some sexy lingerie to appeal to Bianca's desires? Or perhaps just apologize in person and make it up to her in other ways?
