She landed with a thud, her sandals slipping off her feet and sliding across the room. The balls continued to roll around her, and Jack's laughter grew louder, echoing off the walls. Abby couldn't help but join in, her giggles mingling with Jack's as she tried to corral the errant balls.

As she finally managed to gather the last ball, Abby realized her sandals were nowhere to be seen. "Jack, where are my shoes?" she asked, trying to sound stern but unable to hide her amusement. Jack just shrugged, his grin still plastered on his face. "I think they're hiding with the treasure!" He chuckled, clearly pleased with himself. Abby chuckled and shook her head, deciding to let it slide. But as she stood up, she felt a slight draft on her feet, a reminder that she was now barefoot and **** to Jack's next prank.

The cool floorboards beneath her feet made Abby aware of her temporary vulnerability. She playfully scolded Jack, "You're going to have to help me find my shoes, young man!" Jack just grinned and said, "After the treasure, Abby!" Abby smiled, intrigued by the game unfolding before her.
