Well, I didn't see this coming.

With a wicked chuckle, the figure lifted their hand and a violet glow illuminated the room and more importantly, her face. It was Blackfire. I stared, uncomprehending. I didn't order her...I said nothing about her to the people who designed Raven's personality. So what the hell was she doing here?

"Calming down now?" she teased, snapping out of my confused thoughts. "Honestly, the way Raven talked about you, I expected a bit more spine." Gathering my wits, I turned on the lights. The purple glow in the dark was creeping me out. She extinguished the starbolt once it was no longer needed. This allowed me to get a good look at her.

Surprisingly, she wasn't wearing her usual outfit. Blackfire's clothing was far more...well...normal. Light purple, featureless short sleeved shirt, hip hugger jeans, slightly heeled boots...she looked every bit the average woman. Well, save for her eyes and eyebrows. Her hair was tied in a tight ponytail...not a bad look.

If I wasn't mistaken, she was...bigger than her cartoon iteration. Not exactly taller, as she was already possibly the second tallest female on the show...but she lacked the thin appendages. Her body was more that of someone who engaged in rigorous exercise yet didn't exactly eat like she was on a diet. Compared to the rather scrawny figure she had on the show, the difference was remarkable.

"Who are you and what do you want?" I asked, feigning ignorance of her identity. Blackfire wasn't well known on Earth anyway.

This earned a laugh. "Oh, don't we sound tough now?" the dark haired alien mocked. Shaking her head, she sighed. "Well, my name is Kim Anders and what I want is to meet the guy my roommate went on about for almost an hour." The name threw me off for a moment before I realized where it came from. Her name was Komand'r. When separated in the same manner as Starfire (Koridan'r/Kori Anders) It would be Kom And'r. Kim is a practical typo for Kom since I and O are right next to each other...so, why not? Made better sense than calling her Kom.

I also realized that she had just said that Raven was talking about me...in a mostly positive manner, it seemed. That was...that was fantastic! I had to suppress a smile...and had to work harder to suppress a whoop of joy. "You're Rachel's roommate?" I asked. She must be the "she" Raven was talking about earlier...but why Blackfire?

"She even told you her real name?" Blackfire asked, looking both surprised and disappointed. She muttered something in what I assumed was her native tongue. "I'll have a talk about that with her when I get home. For now though..."

Kim dashed toward me until I was backed against the wall. She poked my chest with an accusing finger. "...you and I are going to have some words." I gulped. "She told you about the last guy, right?" I nodded vigorously. Anything to make sure she didn't turn my head into pulp. "Then you know what the prick did. Well, I'm going to make sure YOU don't pull the same shit. She was inconsolable for weeks!"

I didn't understand. Why did she care? Then I remembered...the guy had cheated on Rachel with Starfire. This meant that Blackfire and Raven now had something in common. Maybe they bonded over it...? She was sure being a better "big sister" with Raven than she had been for Star...
