Welcome to Gotham, Elektra

Felicia led Elektra to a safehouse in Gotham, where Barbara, Selina, and Kitty were already waiting for them. She introduced herself to the rest of the group and they immediately began talking business.

"So let's get right to it -- how familiar are you with Talia Al-Ghul and the League of Shadows?" Barbara asked Elektra.

"I've crossed paths with the League often," Elektra confirmed. "It's pretty hard not to in my line of work. It was actually a League assassin who warned me they were after me."

"Really? Who?" Barbara asked.

"An... associate of mine," Elektra answered evasively, not wanting to say anything more. "Let's leave it at that for now."

"That information could be important... are you sure you don't want to say anything else?" Barbara inquired.

"I'm certain," Elektra said. At this point she still had her guard up -- while she was fairly certain her current companions were trustworthy, even the pair of thieves -- she didn't want to take any chances. If it got out that Jade had had any sort of contact with her, she'd very likely face repercussions from the League... and Elektra knew they wouldn't be pleasant.

"Fair enough. I won't press it," Barbara assured her. "So... tell us more about what your 'associate' told you..."

Elektra told the group everything she knew -- the fact that the League had allied themselves with the Hand, and their plan to bring down well-known mercenary contract killers, specifically women.

"Alright, so that lines up with all the info I've gathered," Barbara confirmed. "Do you have any idea why the League & Hand are targeting women mercs?"

Elektra shrugged. "My associate wasn't entirely sure, but she believes it has something to do with the Lazarus pits. I can only assume that Talia plans to resurrect her targets with them, but I'm not sure why..."

"That's a fair assumption," Selina observed. "Maybe she's found a way to bring them under her control?"

"That seems likely, which begs the question -- how would she do that? " Barbara wondered.

"Sounds like that's what we need to find out," Kitty suggested. "Got any leads on something like that, Babs?"

"Give me a few hours and I should be able to scrape something together," Barbara said. "Let's meet up tomorrow night here... in the meantime, I guess that's all the business we can cover tonight."
