Chapter 83

What's next?
Welcome Alexis
The text had been simple. Sarah, her wife, had said that she needed a ride home, followed by an address. That was it. No explanation, but Alexis didn’t need one. She trusted her wife. Sarah knew that Alexis was a busy woman, and wouldn’t have bothered her if it wasn’t important. Why would she deceive her?
Walking into the house, though, and seeing the big breasted man in the corset, Alexis knew something was up even before Sarah spilled the beans. Her young, beautiful, naive wife goes for a run, then ends up in the house of a guy dressed up like a character in a porno?
Something was definitely going on.
And then Sarah spoke.
“Tim!” Sarah said in a happy tone, ignoring Alexis but staring at the man, “you look beautiful! I’d like you to meet Alexis, my wife. Alexis, this is my boyfriend, Tim.”
Of course Alexis wasn’t buying it. The whole thing stunk to high heaven. A married lesbian suddenly changes sexual orientation and finds a boyfriend while jogging? Bullshit. She crossed her arms in front of her.
“What the fuck is going on here?”
“I just told you,” Sarah started, “Tim is…”
“If this guy is your boyfriend, then I’m the Queen of Sheba,” Alexis interrupted, “whatever the fuck this is, I’m not in the mood. You’ve had your laughs, Sarah, so let’s go.”
“Pardon me,” the other woman said, “if you’ll give us a minute to talk…”
“I don’t know who you are,” Alexis spat, pointing her index finger at the woman, “but I was in the middle of my ‘me-time’ and I don’t appreciate being the brunt of some prank,” she rounded in her wife, “And you, Sarah, are a disappointment. I came here right away because I thought you were being serious, that you might need my help. You know how I feel about people wasting my time.”
Sarah was looking at the ground, ashamed. Good. She needed to remember who was in charge.
“Now go outside and get in the car. We’re leaving,” Alexis said with finality, turning to leave.
“No.”
She turned back. The man had spoken. Who did he think he was? She was going to have to put him in his place.
“Sarah isn’t going anywhere,” the man continued, stepping toward her in his platform heels, “I was going to try to fix this, to put things back to how they were, but after seeing you with her, how you treat her, I’ve changed my mind.”
“Please Tim,” Sarah turned to the man, “She’s not usually like this. She can be quite kind, she just doesn’t like…”
“Sarah, shut up!” Alexis snapped, “Our business is our business!”
“Not anymore,” the man continued, “Sarah, you’re staying. Do not obey Alexis anymore.”
“Yes Tim,” she said obediently.
“The fuck?!” Alexis’ voice had become shrill.
“And you,” the man turned back to her, “come barging in here like you own the place, treating people like garbage. You’re some piece of work.”
Alexis was about to explode when she saw Sarah’s face. Tears were pouring down steadily.
“Please, Tim,” she said between sobs, “I love her! She can be horrible, but she can be wonderful too! Please! Let her be with us!”
Alexis’ eye went wide. With us?! What the hell was the supposed to mean?!
“I don’t know what you’re trying to pull, but…”
“Shut-up, Alexis,” he ordered. His words struck her like a punch to the stomach. She wanted to retort, but all words seemed to escape her, as if what she wanted to say was on the tip of her tongue. She concentrated silently, attempting to sort out her thoughts.
“Sarah,” the man, Tim had approached Alexis’ wife and placed his hands on her shoulders, “are you sure that’s what you want? I could let you and Alexis go, even talk to her and see if we could make your relationship better.”
“No,” Sarah said, “I’m your girlfriend and lover. It’s who I am, and I don’t want to change it. It’s just that I’m her wife, too. I want you to be with other women, so couldn’t Alexis be one of those women? Then maybe she and I…”
“Could still be together,” he finished her sentence.
Alexis couldn’t believe what she was hearing. This was not what she wanted, not that anyone was asking her. She decided to speak up, but again couldn’t think of the right words.
“I guess we could give it a try,” Tim said, turning back to Alexis, a somber look on his face, “Alexis, Sarah is my girlfriend. I don’t want to change that, so you’re going to have to be okay with it.”
She would do no such thing! Okay with Sarah, her wife, being the girlfriend of some clown? Impossible!
Sarah was hers. She could, would not share. Ever since she saw her in the cafe, struggling with the cash register, her beautiful brown skin glistening with sweat, Alexis had known that Sarah would be hers. Sometimes a person just knows.
And it had been great! Sarah was fun, carefree, and a minx between the sheets (and between her legs!). Soon enough they’d been engaged, then wed. Alexis still remembers the look of her bride in her amazing white gown, walking hand-in-hand with her down the aisle. It was the best day of her life.
Still, she was having trouble shaking off something about what Tim had said, something about Alexis having to be okay with Sarah being his girlfriend. How could she be okay with her beautiful wife being the girlfriend of some dude? It was an abhorrent idea. But yet, was it her decision? Sarah seemed to like him, seemed to want to be with him. If Alexis denied her wife this, was she denying her agency? She wanted to argue, to debate the point, if only to understand her feelings on the matter a bit better, but couldn’t find the words.
“And if you love her,” Tim said, bringing her out of her thoughts, “you will have to be with me too. You will be my girlfriend and my lover, like Sarah.”
He had to be kidding. SHE WAS GAY! Alexis hadn’t been with a guy since first-year university, back when she was still in the closet. His name was Danny Klews, and they’d dated for three months. Funny enough, Danny came out of the closet himself two years later. She saw him every year at Pride where they shared a laugh.
But this would be different. Being the girlfriend AND lover of Tim? She had just met him! Yes, he was objectively attractive, in a Hollywood hunk kind of way, but she was into women. Tim’s long legs, his big breasts, his slutty makeup, it was so different. Before she met had Sarah, the type of woman she would pick up would have had big tits and long legs, would even look and dress a little slutty. Alexis would have a real problem reconciling the two.
She did, however, love Sarah. There was no denying that. In that Tim had a point. She wanted to stay with her, and since Sarah wasn’t leaving Tim (which Alexis was feeling more and more okay with), she would have to find a way to stay close.
“But you will not treat any of my girlfriends or myself with disrespect,” Tim said, arms folded under his breasts, “You will be kind and caring to all of us.”
That was a lot to ask. What if someone really deserved to have a strip torn off of them? What if someone needed to be put in their place? Alexis was strong willed. Too many times in life had she been called pushy, bossy, to not start to internalize the characteristic.
It would be hard, though, to be one of Tim’s lovers if she started creating tension in the group. Sarah wanted him to be with other woman, and so Alexis would have to figure out a way to be both a lover and a sharer. Being polite, being kind and respectful, that would be helpful. Maybe her way of doing things would have to change.
“I’m making an exception for you because I like Sarah. You made a horrible first impression here, Alexis, and you have a lot to make up for,” Tim said, “I expect you to not only be on your best behaviour, but to make up for your bad behaviour. You treated Sarah like garbage, and disrespected Vanessa in her own home. You will find ways to make it up to us.”
Alexis looked at the three faces before her. He was right. How could she have been so callous? She imagined someone barging into her own home and speaking to them the way she had. It was abhorrent, a perfect example of her old way of doing things, the way she had been before she decided to be ****, more caring. Moving forward, Alexis would work hard to help them forget the monster she used to be.
“So?” Tim said, “You can speak again. What’s it going to be?”
“Darling,” she said to her boyfriend, hoping that she would find a way to be aroused by him despite him being a man, but still wanting to make a good impression, “I’m all yours.”
They were the first words she had been able to articulate for a few minutes, but when she said them, they felt more true than anything she had said since her wedding vows, and was glad she could share them with Sarah standing by her side once again.
