Weird

“This is weird,” Alexis said in a low tone to her wife, eyeing her newly minted boyfriend from across the room, “not that I’m complaining.”

“I know right?” Sarah responded, squeezing Alexis’ hand, “I’m super glad that Tim talked you into this. It’ll be way better with you.”

“But with a guy?” Alexis said, “I can see why straight women would want him, but I’m not sure I can get myself excited over him,” she stared at Tim as he walked expertly in his platform heels toward the laundry room where, she had been informed, his skirts and blouses were in the dryer, “he’s just so male.”

“I’m having a bit of a hard time with that, too,” Sarah whispered, “but don’t tell him. I want to be his lover, so I need him to think I want him that way. I mean, I kind of do, you know? If I concentrate, I can make myself think that his tits are women’s tits, and that his clothes are women’s cloths. Stuff like that.”

“A bit of a stretch,” Alexis said doubtfully, squinting at his panty-clad behind as he left the room, “but I can give it a try. If he wasn’t so butch it would be a bit easier.”

“I gave him a foot job,” Sarah blurted.

“You what?!” Alexis was shocked.

“I gave him a foot job!” Sarah repeated, giggling, “That’s how I convinced him to take you as a girlfriend too!”

Alexis knew that she would have fumed in the past, blasting Sarah for such an impulsive move, but she couldn’t find the ire. She knew that her wife had only been doing what she thought would be helpful. And besides, Tim’s words of being kind and caring rang loudly in her ears.

“Thank-you,” she said, leaning in for a kiss, “I appreciate it.”

“You’re welcome,” Sarah said, “it was two birds with one stone, really. I want Tim to have more girlfriends, and I didn’t want to lose you in my life! Besides, what better gift could I give my new boyfriend but a woman who is the most amazing person I’d ever met?”

Alexis blushed at the compliment.

“I mean it,” Sarah continued, “you’re beautiful, you’re smart, you’re driven. I think Tim is going to love you, just like I love you.”

“Stop,” Alexis said, her eyes getting damp, “I don’t deserve you.”

“Well now we can still be together, both sharing a lover and boyfriend! How great will that be?”

It wasn’t ideal, nor was it anywhere near where she would have thought her life would take her, but it was truly what she wanted. Tim was solidly in her heart, as profoundly, if not more so, than her wife.

“Maybe I could talk to him,” Alexis mused, “he can be very convincing. If I explain to him that he’s attractive, that I want to want him, but am having trouble being aroused, maybe he could talk me through it.”

“Don’t you think that might be a turn off for him! Having a lover that wasn’t, you know, into him?”

“Relationships are built on honestly and trust, Sarah,” Alexis said, squeezing her wife’s hand, “Ours is. It’ll be the same with Tim. He needs to know that I’m in, no matter what, that I want to be a good girlfriend, but I need a little help. I’ve never been into guys before. He’ll understand.”

“I hope so,” Sarah said, “for both our sakes. If you’re going to talk to him, then I will too.”

“Then it’s settled,” Alexis said, “I’ll ask Vanessa if she has a private room we can use. When Tim comes back, we take him there and have a heart-to-heart. “

“To-heart,” Sarah added.

“Yes,” Alexis agreed, “I missed that. Sorry. This is weird.”

“So you said,” Sarah giggled again, “we’ve got a good plan. Let’s make it less weird, if we can.”
