Weird and dreadful

Blair decided to use Meditate while on their ride to Falcon High School, but much to her dismay, it yielded no results. Once her eyes opened, she blinked, seeing a rather large high school before them with cheerful teenagers heading inside. The first bell had rung, causing several of the students to quicken their pace, others becoming disgruntled, nothing looked out of the ordinary for such a place. She looked to Nora. "Do you know where the entrance to this barrier is?" Nora shook her head. "No, but our informant should be arriving any moment." Just then a knock was heard at her window. Nora paused with a smile. "Looks like they just arrived." She said, turning slightly to lower her window, just enough to let the person speak. The figure at the window spoke."You will find what you seek, upon the football field." Just as mysteriously as the figure had arrived, they had vanished. If Blair hadn't seen them, she would have never known anyone had been there. She was starting to wonder, how far out of her league was she? She still had no clue how old Zane was, nor his level. He certainly was not at the top within the Abyss, of that, she was certain. If he was, he would likely use that power to clear out necromancy and their ilk. She was certain there was more to all of this anyway. Blair's train of thought was broken when Nora touched her cheek. "Hey, are you listening?" Blair blinked and shook her head a little. "Oh, um, sorry, what?" Nora sighed softly. "We should go and check out that football field." Blair nodded slightly. "Right, I should add you to my party before we go." Nora lifted a brow as Blair spoke. "Add Nora to my party." Nora's eyes widened obviously seeing something in front of her. "Don't worry, it won't bite you." Blair said before Nora poked the air and Nora's health and mana bar added to Blair's interface. "Ah, so this is what Sandro was talking about." Nora nodded. "Wait, why did Sandro get to party with my girlfriend first!?" Nora said with a pout. Blair chuckled. "I honestly didn't know I could form a party. Not until I accidentally did so with him." Blair took Nora's hand with hers. "It wasn't anything special, I promise." She leaned in to kiss Nora's cheek. "Now, we should go and kick some zombie butt." Nora nodded. "Of course." They stepped out of the car together and walked towards the football field.

Once their feet touched the outer line of the field, they were instantly phased into a night version of this area, the sky above had changed to a blood red color, several withered carrion birds flying in the distance. A notification popped up.

A screech was heard in the distance from those birds, a low growl was heard nearby as three zombie dogs started to get up and charged towards them. Blair gave them a quick Observe.

She quickly did the math in her head, that would only take two punches with Lightning Jab and Arcane Strike toggled on. She quickly toggled them on before starting to rush in, but before she hit them a blast of yellow fire rained from the sky taking out the three zombie dogs, but turned the attention of roughly ten skeletons, and five zombies their way. She used Observe on them and those carrion birds. + 90 xp

Wait, those zombies were level 25!? How can that be when Alatar was only level 24? Hmm, maybe it was allowed in reality. She felt something hit her head and a number ticked in front of her, gaining her a stack of Self Defense. - 5 Hp She looked up, seeing a carrion bird about to strike again, she dodged just in time, allowing her to gain another stack of Self Defense before punching that carrion bird for 37, 11, and 16 damage. - 10 Mp ( 64 damage) (4 Overkill) + 10 xp Blair turned to look at Nora as the many skeletons, carrion birds, and zombies quickly rushed them. She had changed her outfit from a lovely yellow sun dress and matching heels, to something out of the middle ages, a black leather tunic and matching pants, she was holding a full silver mace with her right hand and a silver shield with her left, both of which had a lion's head etched on them. "By the goddess's light, this world shall suffer you no more!" Nora yelled as a yellow light appeared above her head, sending out a shockwave that knocked all of the carrion birds and skeletons down, taking them out within a 20 yd radius, but sadly left the zombies unfazed. She could see that Nora's mana was down to about half by this time, but she had taken down the remaining carrion birds and skeletons. + 540 xp, (50 per skeleton and 10 per carrion bird) Wait, those zombies weren't unfazed, but they had only been slowed massively. She felt this would be the perfect time to use it, she cast Arcane Twin a perfect duplicate of herself appeared by her side, glowing a soft purple hue. "Let's go, sister." She smiled as did her Arcane Twin, they both struck a zombie each with both fists, 40 damage twice, 12 damage twice, and 17 damage twice, her Arcane Twin hitting it for, 20 damage twice, 6 damage twice, and 9 damage twice. (For those who are wondering why it went up to 9 damage, here is the math, it is 17.25 damage divided by 2 equaling 8.625 a hit, so it rounds up to 9 damage) - 220 Mp (208 damage) (8 Overkill) + 100 xp

She quickly toggled off her Lightning Jab and Arcane strike, she had only 10 mana left anyways, and 5 seconds had passed since she cast Arcane Twin. She needed to act fast, the zombies were starting to return to normal. She rushed in while thinking, wait, why do I feel so light? She glanced back for just a moment, Nora's hands were together whispering something before rushing a zombie herself. Another + 100 xp flew across her field of vision as she struck another zombie with her Arcane Twin, this time, four times in a row for 40 damage each and 20 damage each time for Arcane Twin. (240 damage) (40 Overkill) + 100 xp Only two zombies left, she turned slightly as one of the zombies almost bit her, but instead slobbered her arm and ripped off a sleeve of her shirt. Unfortunately she backed up into the other zombie, hitting it for 10 damage with the back of her head, and hurt herself in the process. - 20 Hp "Ouch." She rubbed the back of her head before jumping back, her Arcane Twin following her movements. Another 10 seconds had passed by now, she only had 15 seconds left to make use of her Arcane Twin. Nora rushed in and smashed the skull of the zombie that had tried to bite Blair, killing it instantly. + 100 xp All that was left was this slightly injured zombie with 190 Hp left. A snap of someone's fingers echoed throughout this place, the zombie groaned, ignoring them completely before starting to shamble away. Nora didn't allow the zombie to get away, striking it down with her mace. + 100 xp Blair looked around, but couldn't see who had made that snapping sound. "What was that?" Nora shook her head as Arcane Twin timed out, saying. "I don't know, but we should look around before we leave." Nora paused a moment. "Why is there money on the ground? Creatures from illusion barriers, never drop things." Blair smiled nervously. "I guess that has something to do with me, huh?" Nora nodded. "Sandro had mentioned some like this before. I thought he was just seeing things, but after seeing this, I am certain it is because of you." Nora had a strange look on her face before shaking her head. "You told me your powers were like a video game, but I guess I never really thought about it until now." She walked over to Nora and wrapped her arms around Nora's waist. "Yes, though this is my first time seeing a real drop before. Is this bad?" Nora shook her head and held Blair close while whispering. "I will just need to explain it to my dad later. He has played video games before, I am sure he will understand." Blair nodded before leaning up to kiss Nora's lips gently. "We can split the money, you did a lot of the work after all." Nora shook her head, saying. "That wouldn't be fair, it wouldn't exist without you." Blair nodded slightly while saying. "Okay. Well, let's look around. I am sure whoever snapped their fingers is around here somewhere."

Right before you and Nora decide to split up their was an update to the illusion barrier, a new notification popped up.

Master Tong has abandoned this illusion barrier, Blair is now the owner.

Blair lifted a brow as she selected, no. "Huh, it seems I am now the new owner of this place. Nora, do you have any idea who this Master Tong is?" Nora's eyes widened. "I have heard rumors of such a necromancer. How do you know of his name?" Blair looked to Nora before saying. "Well, it says this was their illusion barrier before I became its owner." Nora nodded slightly. "We should clean up and leave then." Blair blinked, that was a rather short reply. "Is Master Tong that powerful?" Nora nodded. "If the rumors are true and they likely are, then yes." Blair thought a moment while picking up some of the money and other items, it would be nice if there was an auto loot system. A notification popped up.

She quickly clicked yes, and all of the money and items collected into her inventory, $1,000, Tome of Undeath, 5 skeleton fingers, 2 zombie dog teeth, and one essence of undeath. She used the clean spell on her arm to clean off that slobber from the zombie earlier. - 5 Mp It placed zombie saliva into her inventory. She opened her inventory and took out Nora's juices and the zombie saliva from it, placing them on the ground. Nora lifted a brow, seeing her do that and asked. "Bad loot?" She shook her head. "No, just some things I cleaned up before and forgot to toss out." Nora nodded. Blair took a moment to look everything over before smiling. It had been about 15 minutes since the battle had ended and she was certain they were done, saying. "I think we are done here, don't you agree Nora?" Nora walked to her side and said. "Yes, I am sure my Father is waiting for our report."Blair nodded before they lifted their hands, exiting that barrier, the world shattering into a million pieces around them.
