Leah wanted to get ahead of the game when it came to lesson plans. She knew that if she made great lesson plans it would help her in her every day work. It could take time to make good lesson plans and come up with great lessons to engage students--but every minute of planning payed off when her students were involved with the lesson. This also meant less time to goof off. Keeping the students busy--in a healthy way--always helped the students behave. So Leah grabbed her laptop and sat at the kitchen table while Jonathan played video games on his computer and they each enjoyed some alone time--though Jonathan was certainly having more fun. Even so, Leah knew that it would make her life a lot easier being prepared for the next week.
