Week later at Slytherin Tryouts

Rose gripped her broomstick tightly as she waited for the Slytherin Quidditch tryouts to begin. The whispers and snickers from her housemates were unmistakable, but she refused to let them get to her. She had worked hard, and she was ready to prove herself. The air was thick with tension and anticipation as the team captain, a seven year named McDuggin, called everyone to attention.

His rough voice calls out. "Alright, everyone, let's get this over with. First up, we've got our little Gryffindor-lover, Rose Smith. I want to see you against Draco for the snitch."

The crowd of Slytherins chuckled at the mention of her name. Rose clenched her jaw and mounted her broom, eyeing Draco as he sneered back at her. The two of them took off into the night sky, the sound of the snitch's wings barely audible over the jeers from the stands.

Draco's superior broom, the Nimbus 2001, allowed him to stay ahead, but Rose's newfound agility and determination pushed her to keep pace. The wind whipped through her hair as they darted around the pitch, the snitch weaving in and out of their grasp. Draco threw a few elbows her way, trying to intimidate her, but she held firm, her eyes locked on the prize.

"Hey if you lose. I might let you suck my cock. You'll like that weren't you." Draco tease.

The tryout went on for what felt like hours, the two of them a blur of movement against the inky backdrop of the night sky. Sweat poured down Rose's face, stinging her eyes, but she didn't dare blink. The snitch was her key to acceptance, to proving she belonged on the team. And she wasn't about to let Draco take that from her.

She out right beated Draco stealing the snitch 15-5. Rose felt a rush of adrenaline as she caught the snitch for a final time, her hand closing around it with surprising ease. The crowd erupted into a mix of cheers and boos as she landed gracefully beside McDuggin. Draco's face was a picture of pure rage and disbelief as she handed the snitch to the captain.

McDuggin took the snitch from her, his eyes narrowed in appraisal. "Impressive," he said gruffly. "for a girl. Mmm go rest while I test out the rest of the players."
