Wedding and the days to follow

Later that night, Dan was walking Thea ironically down the aisle, he was smirking over to her wife from time to time. She looked lovely, sexy, and kind of slutty but gorgeous. And while she looked like his old wife, or her younger self, her attitude and life was completely changed from the confident, smart gorgeous woman who were his wife. Now she was a slutty teen that only had sex on her mind.

When she got close, she saw her new husband standing, ready to take over from her old husband. She noticed how different they were, but she had to play the cards that were dealt, this is her life for the moment, and this is where she is, she is marrying him, and she will show in all the love she can.

It was a small service in a small church, Thea saw her family on her side, in addition to a couple of people she did not know. On the other side, it was Thao’s family, one sister, one son, one daughter and two grandchildren. Those were not as happy as her family, they had accepted the marriage, but were skeptical and distant towards Thea and Thao.

The ceremony was intense, it was beautiful, and Thea was split, she was feeling partly as a fraud since this was part her game and she was partly swept away with the vibe and ambiance of the ceremony. And she was appreciating the love Thao showed for her. So after they legally and officially were married and walking down the aisle, Thea spilled some tears.

The reception was beautiful in the backyard of Dan and Annas house, all the guest enjoyed themselves while people were dancing, and enjoying themselves for hours before it was getting ready for the speeches.

The first people were Thao`s family, who said nice things about Thao in Thai and was mostly ignoring Thea in their speeches, but they did keep mentioned that the expected this to last, cause Thao was a person that was forever. It was a vague warning about not hurting him directed towards Thea.

After them, it was Danika and Amber.

“Dear Thea, we are family, and we have known you all our lives, it feels like you have been in our life since we were born. And the last year has been strange, it has been ups and downs. You were happy before, then things happened, and everything changed. While you went out in the world of imagination to find yourself, you found your place. We remember how happy you were before, but this might be something even better, call it a second chance for you. This might be the chance you have to live your life as you want, to the fullest.”

“And what we see in you today, compared to what we saw in your life in the US, is what we want for you. We want you to accept what you like and live the life you feel you deserve. As long as you do that, we are happier with you marrying Thao than any other choice you might have had. We don’t want to speculate in you guys’ future, but there is a fair chance that the future you once expected is less than the future you got know, this might be your end station, and we are so proud of you for accepting it.

The girls ended their toast with that sentiment. Thea was unsure how much was for show and how much they meant. But she was just happy they were happy for her. She did not want to analyze the speech more than that. After the girls, Anna got up.

“Thea, I have known you for a while, and we have had a complicated relationship. But what I am glad for, you have found a Husband as I did with my Dan. And I am sure you will love your Husband as I love mine. Dan told me yesterday, that while he has been I relationships before, the one with me is the only one that matter, and when we had our daughters, he said that me and his daughters were the only things he ever truly loved, so while you both have some history, and while both of you maybe have truly loved before. There is only the future that matters, there is no going back and therefore, you and Thao will be an incredible couple that will be a happy family, no matter what kind that will be. Congratulations Thea, you finally living your dream” Anna said with a small smirk of ****.

“Lastly Dan got up. Thea, I know how you are, and I agree, this version of you is far better than any other version I can remember from when you were young. While you have always been adventurous, this time feels different, this time it feels like some roots have taken hold. And that is why I think it is best for you that you met Thao, he will keep you grounded in this life. Where you should be. I remember my ex-wife; I meet her when she was your age. It felt real, but the more I experienced it. The less real it feels, and when I am honest, I do enjoy my new life more, and I am sure you do to, we all can see it. We all can see that there is a age difference, but for you that is a good thing, it feels like you are older than you are, and while it is not ideal, I am sure you and Thao will have many happy years with your new family. You belong there.” He ended with a firm hint of goodbye.

By the end of the speeches, it was just the happy couple who left. Thao started by slowly getting up and giving some thoughts to where to start.

“Dear Thea, you are the sun of my life. I was done with romance and partners for 15 years ago when my wife died. But you have resurrected my reason for living, no longer am I just walking through the days towards the end. Now I am walking to the future ready to provide and partner with you to achieve new dreams. I want us to completely live our lives as it was the most natural thing, and just go for everything we dream of. So, thank you for coming into my life and sharing it with me, it is my honors to walk you into the future.”

“My love Thao, this took me by surprise. I came to Thailand for a break, to find what I was missing in my life, to relight a flame. And it has, from the first night I met you, you have been a guiding light for me, a anchor for me to come back to when i am getting into my mind. I do not care about any age difference, or whatever might be a issue for people. This is what I want today, and this is what I want tomorrow, the rest of the world is just noise. So be my husband and be true love for you” Thea said while tearing up for all kind of reasons.

When the party was starting to wind down, Thea was in her room getting her phone, when Dan slipped in the door behind her.

“So, I must say, when we compare Anna and Thao, I think the universe has given a proper grade on which of us deserves what. And I must say, I did not understand why you did this. I can see that you don’t love him, and that is natural. But your choice, no one **** you to marry him. I don know that the girls told you to stay with him for a couple of months to avoid being too big of a bitch, but marriage, this was your choice. And I don’t get it. And I am not interested in why. But I do assume you want everything to go back when we are done, and in theory I want that as well, but things always change. And we do not know what the future brings, as this is a proof of.”

“So, I wanted to let you know that what I do expect is the same thing you expected from me when we started this, commitment, you told me to never break character and live the game as it evolved. And that is what I expect from you. This is your choice and you have chosen this life. So, you will respect your husband and stay with him until you have completed the game, if you drop him when you are done using him, we are done for good”. Dan ended his private speech with.

“Yes, I won’t say why I did this, and I get what you are saying, I do love you and we will go back to our lives when the game is over. Until then I will live with the promises I have made, and I will commit to Thao until I am Done.” Thea nodded before they went back to the party.

Anna gave them a wedding present. It was a cruise in the Caribbean for 4 weeks. It was a wonderful gift, but it was long and Thea was unsure what her plan was.

“This is the perfect gift you guys, you need to slow down, feel the constant love between each other and just enjoy the company.” Anna said before chasing them towards the door.

“You guys need to go, the Limousine is waiting for you and the plane takes you straight to the boat, so you will have to wait with your fun at the wedding night before you arrive. And since you guys did not know that you were travelling, we have packed bags for you” She smiled.

Everyone wished them bon voyage while Thea was trying to figure out Annas game.
