We head to the match

The steel cages are surrounding the ring, the shark cages are on the stage, and the fans are ready for it: War Games! The women make their entrances to enter their team’s cages: first Rhea Ripley, followed by Bianca Belair, Candice LeRae, Kay Lee Ray, Tegan Nox, Io Shirai, Dakota Kai, and finally Shayna Baszler. It was noted during Dakota’s entrance the smile and look of determination on her face. She locked eyes with Io for a moment, who did nothing but chuckle at the NXT Universe’s favorite New Zealand export.

When Shayna came out, it was clear that Dakota’s body was stiff. Her fists were clutched together at the sight of the NXT Women’s Champion, and she had to be held back by Tegan after Shayna taunted her by motioning that she was going to strip off Dakota’s top.

With all eight women on the stage, it was determined by both teams that Io Shirai and Candice LeRae would start the match. After a questionable five minute countdown, Bianca Belair would join the match and they would double team Candice. Another countdown came and Rhea Ripley would save Candice by bringing weapons into the ring! Multiple weapon shots later, Kay Lee Ray adds herself to the match. Another questionable five minutes later and everyone is down and out in the ring. It’s time for another member of Team Ripley to enter. It’s time for Dakota Kai to come to the ring.

The buzzer sounds and the referees open the door for her. Tegan gives her some last minute pep talk as she steps out and stomps onto the stage. She suddenly stops and sees all the fans looking at her. She stands on stage in her black gear that has multiple different colored polka-dots and lines over it. They are cheering her on, but seeing all these people look at her remind her that they all have probably seen, if not clips of, the match that led to her being in her underwear on television; a match that can still be watched on the WWE Network. This thought lights a fire in Dakota, the fire that Shayna wanted from her in the Bra and Panties match, now it was her time!
