We follow Daphne’s cousin, chapter 07

Daphne’s cousin was named Megan.

And she was pissed.

All she wanted was to get that Blake family flake, Daphne married and settled down. Not traveling about the country with bunch of vagabonds poking their noses where they were not wanted. She had even said they were planning to start a group to travel around and test the idea that monsters were mysteries that could be solved. Masks in it for money or some such silly thing.

This could not stand. Now she was moving though a forest at night looking for a brat, her hippie rescuer and deciding what do about them, or with the men she arrived with for that matter. Her mind spent the next hour circling these thoughts.

This matched the hour she spent walking around the forest. Finally, as far as she could tell, she had three last choices left. During her wanderings, Rachel had found a lake. There was a good looking man lying on the shore. She could go back to him. After all, the men going after Daphne were not the only horny ones there. Second, she could return to the group she left. She could just about remember the way. They were as horny as she was. She might even luck out and get the single rich guy. Daphne’s poor judgement had the chance to make her rich. Her last was to just stay still. With all the groups blundering about, she had already lost control. why not wait for the dawn, hope everybody had calmed down and just leave this place.
