Congratulations, you’ve been placed in the Dolphins Civilization. Welcome.” One of the four professors reads, representing the Dolphins civilization. The student rep then hands you a pamphlet/guide that will give you access to some of the Dolphins secrets.

On the front of the pamphlet, you see the logo and Civ Name. Before you open it though, you are told to leave the room and walk under the picture of the Dolphin shown on the front of the pamphlet. Upon arriving on the logo, you are shocked by an elevator that quickly transports you very quickly into a blank, wide open space highlighted by a massive door. You take this quiet opportunity alone to open the pamphlet knowing nobody is around you and see a flood of words, glad you didn’t open it and try and read it rushed in front of the large group. Particularly with the words “Top Secret” emblazoned on the front cover.

New Dolphins-

Welcome! To the Dolphins!!! The most intelligent, happiest, and friendliest of all the Civilizations! To be chosen to be a Dolphin you likely value happiness, positivity and optimism as well as intelligence. We are the most Social Civilization and are excellent communicators which makes us the best friends to have on Campus. Dive down deep into the water with us and always remember to celebrate your successes with a little fun and joy!

Our prideful Blue and Silver colors will help light the way for you and show you the others who possess and match your spirit and positive outlook, look for them and you will likely find joy and happiness and a friendly face to talk to. Meanwhile, our prized Aquamarine Gemstones can be found around the Campus to help illuminate and brighten your day, and there’s always the secret Civilization Prized Possession in our Capital Room to always take a look at and admire, the finest Aquamarine in perfect condition when you want something to cheer you up after a long day of studying.

If you think you share similar values to us Dolphins (obviously you do, you were selected here), you will likely find most of the things on this list are things you value, rather you enjoy them, want them, or need them. Fun, Positivity, Joy, Intelligence, Communication and a strong Moral Code are things that we love to live by and celebrate. For those looking to spread some positive cheer, you can find our Capital Room all the way at the West end of the school.

Lake Ilmnylacos is home to our personal Capital Room, a charming site really, just remember that Water Is West, West Is Water and Water Is Wet and you will be able to find our special, super secret room with ease. So where is our entrance? Well, it’s underground! Our incredible minds and greatest intellectuals found a way to carve a path from the school’s western most point through an incredible tunnel system all the way out to under the Lake where you can find our home. Just look for the happiest looking Dolphin in the school’s western most point and remember the 3 special phrases.

Once you enter our special Capital Room, you’ll find a sight to behold, surrounded by the water, you’ll see all kinds of fish and other water life under the lake, a very calm, soothing and restful place to study, relax after a long day at school, or a perfect place to rest after a hard fought win in the Hockey Rink or in the Gymnastics Facility. The spacious room is illuminated during the day by the natural light of the clear water of the lake, and at night by some soft blue and silver LED lights that highlight our two colors.

One thing we do ask though- is that you always continue to grow and develop your weaker areas, everyone has something they need to improve in! One of our favorite phrases is it’s important to know how much you don’t know. Whether that’s improving your focus on your studies rather than focusing on the more fun activities and clubs around school, or making better decisions, there’s always room to get better each and every day.

With that said, we know you will grow to love our Watery home, even if it may boggle the mind initially. The people you meet here will be the best you will ever know and will always be willing to help guide you and help you be your best self! While “There is Always a Time and Place for Everything”, our studies will help us truly outshine the other groups and lead our way in pursuit of the Copper Cup, where we should be the favorites to win it this year with your help.

The Dolphins can first off be highlighted by one key unifying factor, as those chosen to be Dolphins are playful, fun, joyful and gentle. While other Civs have kind and friendly people, it is magnified in the Dolphin Civ and they are often incredibly helpful and positive. Another key factor for this group is intelligence, as this group is also the smartest of the groups in general, and while they may not have the best academic achievements because of their fun loving natures, they are given credit for their intellectual capabilities at their highest potential. Dolphins are very instinctual and also are very balanced, focusing on not being overly reliant on one way of doing things or there always being a “correct” path or decision. The Dolphin Civ is the most social and outgoing and is one that loves to mingle outside of their group more than any of the others. Those chosen to be Dolphins have learned to enjoy the fun in life and find enjoyment in small things and details that help them always stay happy and cheerful. Those chosen to be Dolphins can be protective of others and also work together to help defend what they believe in and value most, specifically people in need of help or assistance in times of need. Those chosen to be Dolphins tend to possess a strong moral compass and while they don’t choose to enforce their own beliefs on others in an aggressive sort of way, it can help them choose who their best friends are, those they trust, and the people that are closely aligned with their particular belief systems.

The main things that those chosen to be a part of the Dolphin Civilization likely need to work on are Controlling their emotions and Decision Making. Sometimes, a Dolphin can get distracted too much by play and lose focus of what they really want to accomplish in a more serious manner. They also may struggle to control their emotions and their defensive ways can sometimes lead to getting into a fight or argument that they don’t really want to provoke. Additionally, sometimes their decision making can be questionable and they will choose to do something that takes away from the progress they made on a given goal or accomplishment in an attempt to try and help others or do something fun for the sake of change and end up losing some of their progress and growth they were working towards in a given area.

In addition to the above more mainstream takes on the Dolphins, the Dolphin’s prized possession, the Aquamarine Gemstone is said to bring about happiness as well, which is why it is so prized by the Dolphin Civilization. It is also said to help keep them safe and give a sense of calm to a group who is often seen as very energetic and playful. The Selection Ceremony for the Dolphins is one that is probably the easiest to identify quickly, due to their positive energy, exciting playful spirit and natural happiness, as well as a strong potential for learning and intellectual capabilities as they continue to grow and develop.

After finishing reading, you head towards the door and start looking forward to beginning your new journey at Cielisium as a member of the Dolphins.
