Chapter 8 by Sozka14 Sozka14

Harriette stands at the door...

Watch the others make their choices

Harriette watched from the door, absent mindedly rubbing at her ass while holding the responsible bow in her other hand, the soft blue glow of the shielding piercings covering her body with the black straps of the harness digging softly into her skin.

Gondi was still seemingly enjoying her misfortune greatly watching the other two making their choices while occasionally glancing back at Harriette and giggling.

Esta strode carefully along the wall of clothing her eyes passing over sheer gowns, impractical plated armour with very important parts missing, temple robes emblazoned with red crosses, and leathers that gleamed in the light of the torches. She looked over to Aelia, who was standing before a display of staves, she seemed bewildered by the choice on offer.

Looking back to her search for clothing, Esta's eye fell on an arrangement of silks with gold and gems glittering among it, the colours shifted constantly as she watched, through a rainbow and back the gems shifting colour to match. To her eyes, trained in magical arts and in item appraisal, it seemed an intriguing choice. She lifted the garment from its hanger, carrying it over to a table where she laid it out for inspection. Thankfully it didnt immediately wrap itself around her, as Hari's rings had.

The tangle of silks and finery seemed to be dancers raiment, thankfully offering full coverage of her chest and nethers, a stark contrast to some of the heavier armours on display. Golden crescents linked by chain edged silks formed arms and legs, and a wider gem-studded crescent at the center was meant for a neck delicate gold chain joined each half ring and crisscrossed between each other. As she touched it, its colours shifted towards a blue and white hue, brilliant sapphires lining the bracelets and collar. Her arcane senses told her that it was attuning itself to her brand of magic, and would amplify it once worn.

Esta pumped her fist slightly, finding a diamond in the rough of these lurid costumes. "Yes, excellent." She laid the raiment out to begin putting it on.

Very nearly binding herself among the twists of silk and chain she eventually finished, slipping the bangles at the wrists and ankles into place, the narrowed openings snugly fitting her joints, at last she slipped the jeweled collar into place, the small hinge at the back allowing a full encirclement of her delicate neck.

At last she stood triumphant, modest again. Experimentally she tested her go to spells, an icicle blast and freezing fog. And aside from a slight chill where the gold touched her skin, she felt nothing but the power that the raiment bestowed, her icicle a veritable lance, and her fog froze into irregular chunks of ice.

"Hah! Yes, it seems ive found the only clothing in here not out to **** us!" She said, as Gondi looked on in appreciation of the mages form.

"Ooooh, lucky you, hurry up!" Harriette added sarcastically. "You just wait, i bet you'll regret your optimism."

"Now for a focus!" Esta skipped over to the weapon racks while Aelia at last selected a plain white stave with a large ruby gem at its tip, and it shrunk to better match her stature.

Trading places with Esta, Aelia moved to inspect the clothes...

What will Aelia find?
