Wash off

They arrived at Claudia's large house, almost a mansion. Abby nervously followed Claudia from the car. They entered the foyer.

"You must be filthy." Claudia said. "Go use the shower. I'll find you something decent to wear."

Abby didn't have to be asked twice. She'd spent hours at the police station, a grimy and unsavory place. She needed to wash the experience off her. She headed to the bathroom, remembering where it was from the her youth. She entered and quickly stripped down. She paused for a moment. This might be the last time she'd wear her own clothes for two years! Quite a shocking thing to think about. Surely though her stepmother would become lenient with her eventually, and allow her to return to her own life!

Still, she needed to shower. So, she slipped off her underwear. Despite being alone she crossed her long stick thin arms over her torso, hugging herself as she stepped into the tub. Once the curtain was safely drawn she finally felt safe to uncover. She turned on the water. Blissfully, her step mother's house had plenty of hot water. She enjoyed the blissful shower for untold minutes until she heard the door creak.

Abby froze. Had someone just entered the room?

"H... hello?" She called out meekly.

"It's just me." Claudia replied. Abby could see her shadow through the curtain. Despite being hidden, she threw her hands over her lean frame. Someone was mere feet from her while she was totally exposed! Claudia couldn't see her but still!

"I'm taking your dirty clothes and leaving you something." Her step mother called out, shuffling around the room. Abby listened intently. Finally, she heard the door open and close. Breathing a sigh of relief she finally relaxed. Well, this relaxing shower had been ruined! Turning off the water she emerged. She wrapped herself in a towel, looking at the clothes her step mother had left her...
