Warming up

While Melissa was doing some warm up on the other half, Amber was practicing serving, playfully hitting the ball around Melissa.

"Hey, don't be an asshole." Melissa snapped.

Amber giggled, "Come on, ."

Melissa rolled her eyes and brought her arm stretching it.

As they were playing Amber noticed Mr Smith walk over.

"Hi ladies." He greeted them.

"Hi sir." The girls replied.

"Amber can I have a quick word?"

“Sure. Just let me give Mel the lighter.” Amber smiled as Melissa gave her the finger.

"I was just wondering how your family were coping, Melissa says your struggling to find a job, I can’t help you there but I can lend you some money.” Mr Smith offered.

Amber's smile faltered slightly, "Oh, that's very kind sir, but we are fine. I got a job the other day. We are doing fine."

"Really?” He asked.

"Yep, it’s a small modelling thing.” Amber replied.

Mr Smith was quiet for a moment, "Well congratulations, you deserve it. I’m Not surprised you would get picked for that."

Amber blushed a little, "Thank you, Sir. "

"You and Melissa are doing well for your final year. Your both doing really well and I am proud of you."

Amber looked at the man with a soft smile, "Thank you. That means a lot, Sir."

"I hope you don’t mind if I watch, you and Melissa have been improving a lot she says." He told her.

"Of course." Amber nodded and made her way to her side of the court.

The two girls began playing, occasionally laughing and chatting.

After a few rounds Melissa's dad began to cheer everytime someone scored an point and Melissa sighed.

"What's wrong? You normally love that." Amber asked.

“It's just a bit embarrassing. " Melissa whispered.

"I think it's cute." Amber laughed.

Melissa laughed a little, "Okay, let's win this round and then stop."

"Agreed." Amber grinned.

Amber bent down to pick up a ball, feeling Mr Smith's gaze up her sport skirt. She glanced at him, seeing him stare at her. He looked away instantly, and began looking down at his phone. Amber bit her lip, a part of her wanted to tease him.

Once the finished they exited the court and headed for cover, sitting Mr Smith while drinking water. Melissa quickly realised she left something in the car and left to grab it.
