Wand's!!

Jacob sighed in relief as the rest of the student's went with their sorting and after was all said and done Agilbert went back to the top of the stairs and smiled to the new students "alright now that the sorting is all well and truly over now comes the best part for you young kids" he said and nodded his head "wand selection" at the mention of wands it seemed like the whole room sans teachers exploded with cheer. Agilbert hushed the crowd by raising a hand "alright alright now i know your all eager but first a word from our teachers" the students groaned. Agilbert chuckled "ahh I'm just playing now if you could all follow Miss Katrina she will take you to the wand selection hall" he said turning and leaving for the hall in advance. Jacob was now practically humming with energy the only thing that brought him down was that indeed him and Aaron were in different houses where Jacob chose Horned Serpent Aaron had been chosen by Pukwudgie and while the whole of the new student body was led to the Wand Selection Hall they were given a brief introductory course "the wand chooses you, you do not choose it and if you try" she chuckled "well let's just say we'll have a permanent suite in the Hospital wing for you depending on how many tries it takes" Katrina said chuckling which caused Jacob to gulp.

Jacob looked around with amazement again at the wand selection hall unlike the sorting hall the Wand Selection Hall had hard wood floors and a giant intricate set of ornate double door's and as soon as Katrina opened the doors she whipped around "now children when selecting a wand you will go one at a time just like the sorting Ceremony and yes before you ask more than one of you will probably have the same type of wand choose you" she said then as the students lined up taking almost all of the doorway Katrina walked back towards the other teachers and Agilbert stepped forward again "no doubt as Miss Katrina told you we will be calling your names up one by one to have you stand before this" he said as he held his hand infront of a larger series of pedestal's holding all different kinds of wands. Jacob couldn't remove the smile on his face finally i'll be getting a wand he thought as he thought of all the different kind of tricks he could preform and the spells he could both learn and create with it he absently wondered what kind of wand his sisters Jessica and Becky had and again he was **** to wait as he stifled a yawn. Jacob was almost asleep when his name was called which jolted him awake and he stepped up to the pedestals walking between them until he had the urge to stop and look at a Beech wand to Jacob it almost glowed as he looked at it, he found himself reaching for it before he even knew what was happening and as soon as he picked it up the wind whipped around him like it was causing a tornado and it lasted for all but a second and Agilbert held his hand out "may i" he asked and Jacob looked at him not eager to give up what was now his and only his but he couldn't deny the headmaster so he handed the headmaster the grip to which Agilbert closed his eyes for a second then for the third time that day looked at Jacob with a stunned expression and he almost whispered "A beech wand with a-" he stopped but then smirked "i think it best you discover what kind of core it has but be sure not to break it" he said which caused Jacob to give Agilbert a curious look but Jacob stepped back and let the rest choose their wands. Afterwards Jacob had to stifle another yawn as Agilbert Began speaking again "alright im sure now your all eager to get to your dorms so you will follow your respected heads of house's the first day you will have to explore and what you want tomorrow though we will have a feast to welcome you young new classmates then your day will be packed with your respective classes" he said as 4 teachers stepped forward.
