Finally at Ilvermorny

Day 4 went rather quickly for Jacob as he played old maid and blackjack with Aaron and a few other student's as after the first couple of hands his skill at blackjack spread of course to Jacob it was all slight of hand. Jacob of course made sure his friend won some but of course when all was said and done Jacob and Aaron were up 40$ and he got Aaron a female students number.

Day 5

Jacob sighed as he and Aaron stared out the window at the mountain that would be their home for the next 5 years "the train ride is too fast" Jacob said and Aaron chuckled "eh don't know about that we'll have like 5 years to get to know one another" Jacob smirked "true that but i just wish i got to know more people" Jacob said the school coming into view. Aaron smirked and patted him on the shoulder "again dude 5 year's in school" he said going to the door of the cabin and patted the door-frame "oh and maybe get your robes on they're mandatory at the welcoming feast" Aaron said closing the door behind himself leaving Jacob with wide eyes.

Jacob rushed around getting into his things causing Lucifer to hoot "sorry boy" he said then hopped into his robes falling twice grabbing Lucifer and his luggage. Jacob had kept quiet about his acceptance to Ilvermorny because he wanted to surprise his sisters on the when he was coming. Jacob was surprised when he stepped out to see a sea of Blue with Cranberry trim all of differing quality some had enchantments on them to resist staining and stuff like that fucking rich people Jacob thought although he had no room to talk.

Jacob sighed as he and the rest of the new class waited for their Royal blue Carriages jacob had been about to ask Aaron if he wanted to share one but then saw the googly eyes he was making to the girl who he had exchanged numbers with and being a good wingman he saw Mia about to get in one and grabbed her arm which earned him a sharp glare from her but he just sadistically smiled and glared back daring her to try something on school grounds then went over to Aaron and said "hey you two i was going to wait for a carriage with this woman why don't you two take that one" he said pointing to the now empty one. Aaron smirked getting what Jacob was playing at and turned to the woman he was with "shall we" he asked the girl rolled her eyes but smiled and nodded and after Aaron and the girl went off Mia looked at Jacob "you know those two won't last the ride right?" she said and Jacob rolled his eyes "i have a sneaking suspicion you are allergic to optimism" he said sarcastically and as soon as one of the pale blue carriages were back he and Mia rode it to the entrance of Ilvermorny. Jacob Looked around the entrance with a sense of wonder it was a giant dome topped with a glass ceiling and like most of the new students he wondered around the wall's looking at the four house statues while a cacophony of footstep's sounded on the marble floor. Jacob stopped infront of the horned serpent statue. Jacob may be crazy but he thought it was talking to him he could hear whispers just on the edge of his hearing he couldn't make out what they were saying but he could hear two distinct voices but he was shocked out of it by Aaron tapping his shoulder a noticeable smudge of pink lipstick on the corner of his mouth which Jacob just smiled at "hey teachers' coming" he said as now Jacob had heard the footstep's and went with Aaron to the student's lining the walls waiting for the teacher while the second years on up went straight to the second story balcony, Just as Jacob started talking to Aaron he could hear the clicking of fresh dress shoes on hard marble above the din conversation and that's when Jacob saw the one man he didn't want to see "god damn it" he mumbled and tried to retreat into the crowd for standing before him was his dad's old drinking buddy and family friend Agilbert Fontaine. It had escaped Jacob's memory that Agilbert was the headmaster here and he soo did not want to be ostracized as 'the rich kid who got in because of his connection's' as soon as he got here but try as he might there was only so much room and soon Jacob and Agilbert locked eyes as Agilbert's swept the room of new students.

Jacob was surprised when the 'free spirit' as his dad Luke put it didn't immediately shout out to Jacob but he soon saw the reason why and his next two obsession's for the next five years two well built women one had dark skin and short black hair tied into a bun she also looked like she would be at home ether flinging spells or on the dance floor the other had an almost ethereal air about her with long blonde hair with a flowing black dress and he noticed another man standing close to the supposed dancer. Jacob sighed as he heard Agilbert start talking "hello and welcome new student's to Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry now you may be eager to get sorted and get your wand's but first I'd have our wonderful staff introduce themselves" he said then took a step back. First was the woman with the ethereal air and she seemed to not walk forward but float forward "my name is Emaline Morgan Goode but you my future students may just call me Emaline and i will teach you North American Magical History" she said then with a graceful flourish stepped back Then another woman and strangely a man took a step forward "hello i am Katrina Harrington and i am to be your Charm's professor along with my Colleague -" she waited for him to introduce himself before going further "I am Andrew Ravenwood and i am also the head of horned serpent house for now" he simply said and then the woman spoke up again "not to be too cliche but we hope you have a wonderful time here." she said.

Jacob rolled his eyes as yet another woman took a step forward god its like this man wanted nothing more than to surround himself with cute women Jacob thought not judging in the least as he looked upon the line of teacher's both male and female but next was a woman with a strange name "hello i am Abigail Calderon-Boot and i am teaching transfiguration and i am also head of Thunderbird House" she said and slightly bowed. Jacob was beginning to get stiff with all these introductions and nowhere to sit but relief soon came as the headmaster soon came back up "alright im sure your all tired from your trip so we'll leave the rest to your class schedule and the teacher's themselves in the classrooms to introduce themselves now it is time for the sorting" he said stepping Down the stair's and as the students were called one by one Jacob got more and more nervous even moreso that he couldn't see his sisters in the throng of second years but then he saw the crowd moving to accommodate a newcomer and Jacob had to chuckle _you'd be late to your own funeral sis _but he smirked as they locked eyes and he discreetly waved and he saw her face light up and he could tell that if she thought she could she would jump down off that balcony right now but she just settled for waiting while hopping up and down like she was waiting for christmas.

Jacob just relaxed and popped his neck as his name was called then something strange happened as he stepped on the Gordian knot and he felt a strange magic wash over him as both the crystal in the horned serpent's forehead glowed and the Wampus carving roared and then he felt almost naked under the gaze of Agilbert and the whispering of the teachers and students that's when he wanted to step back as Agilbert came closer with a smile "well since the rare has happened you can choose the house you wanna be at" he said with mirth in his voice and Jacobs eyes went wide but thats when a shocked expression overtook Agilberts face as he looked closer at Jacobs shocked expression but quickly hid it with a smile he now had a guess at which house Jacob would pick and was proven correct when Jacob said "C-can I choose Horned serpent" he said and Agilbert clapped his shoulder and said "of course you can" after that Jacob stepped back and allowed the Sorting ceremony to finish
