Walloping Websnappers!

“Hmm… Good morning honey…”

Getting up and out of bed and scratching his hair with his fingers, Reed looked around and back to the other side of the bed to find it unoccupied, untouched. Again. He was worried when Susan didn’t come home last night, and this wasn’t the first time either. Apart from the occasional calls he’d get from her not to worry, she had been spending days and nights outside of the house for so long he only ever got brief glimpses of the woman in the mornings, and those moments grew shorter and shorter.

Getting up to his feet and making his way to the bathroom, the man got himself cleaned up. Come to think of it he rarely saw HOW she’d leave or come home. He knew she could go invisible, but this was not like her at all. It worried him that his wife was keeping secrets from him. Looking at his reflection in the sink stall, Reed turned his face back and forth and found he had been getting a bit of a five-o-lock shadow.

Splashing his face with cold water, the man brushed his teeth and sighed. “Well… I hope she’s not in any trouble.”

*

Spider-Man was in DEEP trouble!

Crouched behind him was a creature smiling back at him with a grin better found on a crocodile or piranha. Whoever she was, and she was most CERTAINLY a she, Her body was a very model of athletic, an amazon who if she stood to her full height had to have been well over seven feet tall… WITHOUT the high heels it sported. Her arms and legs were toned solid with definition, with flaring hips, a narrow waist and ample chest that rivalled the size of her head. At the center of her porn queen sized chest was the black emblem of a spider whose thin black legs ran over her shoulders, down her legs and around her melon sized breasts.

Her skin… If it was skin, was bleached white, with two splashes of black where the eyes would be that moved and writhed like they were flames over the surface of her skull. Her lips were just as jet black, as were the rows of fangs that made up her smile that reached well past ear to ear. If she had any. Hair just as chalk white as her skin flowed 2 meters long behind her, swaying like seaweed in the tide like she was underwater, alive, and squirming like billions of tentacles to some terrible sea kraken. Her shoulders, ankles and forearms sported spurs and spikes the same colour as her flesh, her hands were talons, with fingers almost as long and likely as sharp as butcher’s knives.

Opening her fanged smile, a serpentine tongue slithered out, licking her jaws, and extending out to snake between her breasts and back into her mouth.

“Well HELLO Sssspider-Man… Fancy meeting YOU out here in the morning.” She purred; her voice deep yet smooth as honey.

“It’s mid-day…” Dropping his hotdog, Peter put his mask back fully on, turning slowly as he kept eye contact with the symbiote possessed woman. “Mommy Long Legs I presume? Or should I call you Lady Anti-Venom?”

Her smile becoming wider, Susan leaned back with a clawed hand to her chest, her body language hinting she was delighted as the black stains for an eye mask went wide to go with her toothy grin.

“FINALLY! Thank You! Ever since J.J. ssstarted calling me Mommy Long Legs’ the name sssstuck for weeks. I’ve TRIED introducing myself as Lady Anti-Venom, but it never stuck.”

“Oh, Jameson’s responsible for that? Oh ho… You are preaching to the choir honey.” Spider-Man chuckled. “Did you know he tried to sue me for ‘emotional damage’ after I swung past the Daily Bugle?”

“Pff… What a snowflake. As for me, he even copywrote the name so it couldn’t be removed, can you believe that?”

“Oh, that is J.J. alright, that’s him to a tee!”

The two shared a laugh until it died down and Spider-Man looked back at the smiling symbiote host with caution.

“So… You’ve got the Anti-Venom symbiote, you’re helping people, I bet you feel on top of the world right now.”

Hugging herself and breathing in deeply, Susan gave a deep and relaxing sigh. Peter couldn’t help but stare into the deep crest of Susan’s enlarged cleavage as she exhaled and twirled a clawed finger around the sea of hair flowing behind her. “You can probably relate… I’ve helped more people in a month than I have in 5 years! I’ve been so busy I haven’t had a wink of sleep! I’ve cured diseases… Healed injuries…”

“Raided candy stores?”

Slowly turning her head to frown at the web crawler, her hair shifted, looking almost upset.

“A girl’s got a sweet tooth Reed, you know that.”

“Reed?” Tilting his head in confusion, Spider-Man thought on that until he realised who had the symbiote last. He was told it was destroyed to create the cure to the spider plague, but obviously it survived, and found a host in the first person it could latch on to. “Susan? Susan Storm?!”

Her toothy grin returned, her eyes narrowed dangerously as she got to her feet, proving Peter’s hypothesis that she was VERY MUCH taller than she used to be. Behind her he could make out what appeared to be thin chitinous limbs like the legs of an arachnid extending out, ending in stinger tips he eyed warily.

“You know what else I’ve found ssssince I’ve taken up my new duds? I can actually… sense when someone is sick. Take YOU for example.” She hissed, leaning in closer as Spider-Man inched back. “You poor thing, you’re irradiated. You must have been poisoned with it since you were a teenager. I can FIX that! Make it go away so you never have to suffer again… Wouldn’t that be nice?”

“And if I say no?”

Giving a tilt of her head and a smile that would make a shark blush, Lady Anti-Venom’s tentacles sprouted toothy mouths that hissed.

“I can be VERY persuasive Reed… I’ll even kissss it all better, jusssst for you… My adorable little chocolate cake you.”

Opening her mouth again, her tongue lathered over her lipless jaws, making Peter wonder if it was a kiss she wanted or something else. Raising his chin and giving a defiant stance with what little space he had to stand on as she slowly approached, Peter clenched his fists at his sides.

“Well then Suzie, I got only one thing to say to that.”

“Whatssss that?”

Pointing his hand behind him and firing off a web line, Spider-Man winked and waved back at Lady Anti-Venom before jumping off the eagle shaped ledge of the Chrysler building.

“BYE!”
