Walking into school. (SG)

Well, here you are, back at the beginning of the story. As you push open the doors of the high school, excitement and nervousness fill you. You can't help but feel giddy, eager to see people's reactions.

You walk down the hallways, hoping for people to be in awe of you, to notice your cute appearance. It's almost like you want the boys to feast their eyes on you, like you're a freshly cooked ribeye steak.

But as you look around, none of that seems to happen. Everyone is going about their own business. The hallway looks the same, with some people dressed differently, but it's hard to tell who dressed up for the occasion and who didn't.

Your heart beats faster as you realize what just happened. People don't recognize you. They probably just see you as another girl walking into school.

This realization makes you blush. Do people really see me as a girl? you ask yourself. You look around, and it seems like they do. You're just another person in the background.

A mix of emotions floods over you. You were genuinely excited about today, eager to show people your cute side. But instead, nothing seems to have changed.

Suddenly, someone shoves you out of the way, nearly causing you to fall. But they catch your shoulder and look at you.

"I'm sorry about that," he starts to say, but his words trail off as he takes a good look at you. Your eyes widen in shock as you realize it's Jason, the person who made your life and your friend's life a living hell, Aka your school bully.

You don't understand why he bully’s you, maybe it’s bad history. However, that doesn't matter right now, because your face is turning bright red, as you feel the strength in his grip.

Oh god, you hope he doesn't figure out that you're Ash. You try to stammer out a word to thank him so you can leave, but you're frozen in place.

He helps you regain your balance like a gentleman. You see him checking you out, eyeing you up and down. This makes you flustered. A guy is checking you out, and you oddly feel happy that someone recognizes how cute you are. "H-hiya," you stutter out while fidgeting with your hand.

He notices your shyness. "Oh god, she's shy..." he mumbles. "I'm sorry about that. Uh, my name's James. Are you new around here? Usually, I know every goth girl in the school, and they're not usually shy," he says, his face turning slightly red.

This is strange. The Jason you know is the type to flirt with girls and engage in one-night stands. He's a jerk, egoistic. Not wanting to deal with this, you try to run away, but he gently grabs your hand.

"Hey I know we just met but... I was wondering if you'd like to come to a party after school."
