Walk to Carrie's department using other departments to avoid being seen.

Not wanting to be left alone for much longer, Erica decided to find Carrie's department. She would need to move quickly and stay hidden if she didn't want people to see her wandering around the store in her bikini. The swimsuit did not leave her as exposed as it could have been, but she still felt exposed and she would be embarrassed if she was caught.

Looking around carefully, Erica moved away from the books, her only refuge thus far, and started making her way through the store. When she made it to the girls' department, she stopped and hid among the racks of baby clothes, t-shirts, and tween fashions designed by Disney Channel stars. It felt odd hiding in the middle of clothing when it would have been preferable to grab something and put it on. Let it be known that Erica was not a thief.

Checking that the coast was clear, Erica rushed through to the next area, the mens' department. Here, she was able to hide in the coat racks like she used to do when she was a little girl. Crouching under the apparatus, she could remain hidden from view with no problem. From this strategic viewpoint, she could look around without being seen, and saw where she had to go in order to get to Carrie's department.
