Walk the Halls

Not feeling in the Mood to do much of anything Luke just choose to leisurely kill some time. Classes having started, the halls became rather spare.

Luke walked laps with a few of his friends that had a Free Period too. All they seemed to want to talk about was what happened in the Cafe. What was going on between Nemesis, and Grace? And was it true he had actually landed Grace?!

Luke cockily besotted to his friends it was true, in addition to telling a more self-flattering tale of his exciting morning.

Though something did bother him throughout the Period.

Even though there were now few people in the halls now, there were still at least some people there. Students loitering about, others walking laps like them.

Yet, every time a group of girls came by Luke and his friends, they turned there heads away, some rushed to clear out of his path, while others just gave a cordial "Hey." To them.

No Teasing!

No Cat Calls!

No Harassments!

Nothing!

Luke didn't understand, before lunch it felt like Luke had a bullseye painted on his back. Now it seemed that the female population of the school was treating him better then ever before!

Luke didn't mind it of course.

And so Luke enjoyed his Peaceful Free Period uneventfully.
