Chapter 2

How will you first assert your authority over these unstable icons?
Walk past them all
You turn, a movement that displaces a significant amount of air in the grand foyer. Your footsteps are seismic, each one a dull, heavy thud that travels down your massive legs, through the soles of your boots, and into the foundation of the estate itself. You walk past Daphne, still kneeling on the cold marble floor, her head bowed. Your shadow engulfs her completely as you pass by, a fleeting eclipse that makes her flinch. You do not look at Kim, whose defiant posture falters as your sheer physical bulk brushes past her, nor at Misty, who presses herself flat against the kitchen doorframe as if to melt into the wood. Their proximity to you solidifies them instantly; the faint flickering around their edges ceases, their colors deepening, their forms becoming more dense and more real with each step you take.
You move deeper into the house, your presence a silent, mobile anchor point. As you leave the immediate vicinity of the foyer, you can feel the connection to them stretching, becoming taut like a fishing line. From the corner of your eye, you see Daphne's form begin to waver again at the edges, her lavender dress losing some of its saturated color. Kim gasps, her hands flying to her chest as she watches her fingers turn transparent for a terrifying second. The lesson is being learned without a single additional word: proximity is survival. Your movement is not just a choice; it is a lifeline they are **** to hold onto.
You enter what appears to be the main living area. A wall of floor-to-ceiling windows looks out over a sprawling, immaculate garden, but the room itself is dominated by two enormous, deep leather sofas. They look expensive, but comically undersized, as if designed for people of a completely different scale. This entire world, this entire reality the engine has manifested, is built on a smaller frame. You stand in the center of the room, a giant in a doll's house, the sheer power of your stillness radiating outward. The low hum of the NME beneath your feet is a constant reminder of the strange science that binds you all together. The silence stretches, broken only by the distant, anxious breathing of the three girls you left behind.
How will you claim this space?

The Gilded Sanctuary
Threshold of Desire
You are a former architectural engineer in your late 40s, a man of massive physical presence—standing 7'1" with the lean, powerful build of a professional center. You have inherited the Blackwood Estate and the "Narrative Manifestation Engine" (NME) hidden within its walls. The NME is a piece of experimental tech that harnesses 'Cultural Resonance'—the collective mental energy of millions of people—and solidifies it into biological reality. The result: famous fictional women have become real, but they are physically 'optimized' by the collective imagination, manifesting with impossible hourglass figures and a suggestive, hyper-feminine 'bimbo' energy. As the Master of the Sanctuary, you are the 'Biological Anchor.' Your sheer physical density and presence stabilize their existence; without you, they would fray back into data. You must manage a household of young, beautiful icons who are physically tiny compared to you but possess an overwhelming allure. The power dynamic is absolute: you provide their safety and their very reality, while they compete for the attention of the giant who keeps them whole.
