Walk of humiliation

Peter didn’t want to risk getting humiliated further as he looked down in shame and walked out in his maid outfit. To his surprise he saw cars lined up and down the road with people gathered around. They were all here to see him. Peter could hear the cheers of the neighborhood and people he knew.

Peter gulped as he walked all the way home. He got to the door to find there were calls all lined up and down the driveway. That’s when he realized he had forgotten about one thing.
