Walk home

Katie decides that walking home would be her best bet since her classmates have teased her all day. Katie exits school from a side entrance and waits several minutes for all her classmates to leave. Then she begins the long walk home.

As Katie walks home cars go by honking at her and yelling at her. Katie hides her face in shame but it does not help. Katie starts to cry but she notices a second hand store up the road. She quickly runs to the store and enters. There are some women's clothes on a rack in the front of the store.

The fat middle age owner sees Katie and has a shocked expression on his face.

"Are you okay?" He asks as he stares Katie down.

"No, I've been humiliated all day. I need some clean pants to go home in or else my mother is going to punish me." Katie exclaims.

"You've come to the right place. I can sell you some clothes and get you out of that wet diaper." The owner exclaims.

Katie looks down at her legs and realizes her money was in the jeans she left at school.

"Money? I don't have any money on me." Katie cries.

"It's okay I'm sure there is someway that you can repay me." The owner says.
