Walk around

You're still pissed at yourself for missing Caity Lotz so you decide to wander back into the convention hall where it's crowded with nerds and you browse through the multiple booths. You're looking at some comics at the DC comics stand, when you turn around and bump into a young woman, causing her to knock over a rack.

"Shit," you both exclaim and you quickly help her put the stuff back in order before apologizing profusely to her. You hadn't been paying attention to your surroundings, even though she must not have either since she was walking right behind you.

She's really sweet about the whole incident and doesn't blame you at all. You first notice she has a beautiful smile, then realize you've seen her before but you can't quite place it. She's half-asian, has long curvy brown hair, and wearing glasses. You could have sworn you've seen her before somewhere as she walks away.

You keep walking until you come to the Marvel comics booth and start looking through their latest comics. On a tv screen, you can see them playing the latest trailer for the new season of Marvels Agent of SHIELD. You had started watching that show a while back because the characters were quite interesting and there were a few pretty actresses as well. That's when you remember where you had seen the woman before. It was Chloe Bennet, who played agent Daisy Johnson on the show. You look frantically around the hall for her pink jacket, which stands out in the crowd.

Pushing your way past some people, you rush towards Chloe and grab her by the elbow when you catch up to her.

"Hey!" she exclaims at first but she calms down when she recognizes you from before.

"Hey... Chloe," you say with a raised eyebrow. Chloe looks alarmed and raises a finger to her lips.

"Keep it down!" she whispers.

"So it is you! Wow, are you really trying to pull a Clark Kent with those glasses? What are you doing here?" you ask.

"It's worked so far, until you just nearly outed me. I'm not scheduled to be here until tomorrow and I got bored so I came to check it out without the fanfare. Plus, the Marvel people would go crazy if they saw me even touching a DC comics comic book," Chloe says and she pulls you to the side. "What do you want? An autograph? A selfie?"

You see a window of opportunity and decide to have some fun with the situation.

"Oh, nothing. I just wanted to let you know that we appreciate your portrayal on the show," you say.

"Oh," Chloe sounds surprised. "Good. Good, I'm always happy to know when the fans like it. That's why we do it, am I right?"

"No, I don't mean 'we' the fans," you pause.

"What do you mean then? Are you with Marvel?"

You smile. You have her hooked and its time to reel her in. "It might be easier just to show you." You grab her hand and activate the time control ring, freezing everybody in motion except for the two of you.

"Woah!" Chloe yells and she lets go of your hand and runs around, poking the still people around and waving her arms in front of their faces. When she's finally convinced, she comes back to you. "What are you? A real superhero?"

"Yup. We're not supposed to reveal ourselves to non-powered people, but I had to come say hi."

"Wow. Thanks... what do they call you?"

"The Ringer."

"Oh! I've heard of that! You've been in the news lately, although nobody has ever seen you. That's freaking cool. What else can you do?"

"A few things..." you say, before turning invisible before her eyes and then reappearing and using your super strength to lift up a TARDIS replica with one hand. Chloe applauds at the display of your powers and you walk up to her with time still at a stop.

"Actually, there is one more thing..." you say, trying to look sad.

"What is it?"

"It's... you know what, never mind. It's too much to ask."

"Of course not. You save lives! Please, if there's anything I can do to help, please let me," Chloe begs you.
