Chapter 77
by
Artican
Do you head off or come up with a reason to stick around?
Walk Ahuiliztli Home
“Are you headed home now?” you ask.
“Ah,” Ahuiliztli says, looking around at the now empty theater. “Yes, I suppose I should. Everyone else can take care of cleaning things up and I should get up early tomorrow to organize the show. The performers will be excited when they hear about the funding!”
“How about I escort you home then?” you suggest.
Ahuiliztli smiles at you and nods, “I would like that!” With that, you take Ahuiliztli hand and walk her out of the banquet hall.
The evening air is chilly and it is hard to make things out in the dim moonlight, so you stay close to Ahuiliztli as she navigates the streets to her home. You can feel her body shiver close to yours, so you remove your cloak and wrap it around her. She leans into your shoulder as you casually stroll back to her place. You stretch your arm around her shoulder and she rests her head on your chest as you walk. It is a silent journey. Ahuiliztli feels like she’s burrowed in your side, walking in a gingerly manner, not rushing to get home. Both of you are basking in the joyous evening that you just shared.
“I am so happy,” Ahuiliztli says to you after a long silence. You are just a few paces away from her abode. Each step feels slower as you approach, but you don’t mind.
“Why’s that?” you wonder aloud.
“I had feared that you did not have a taste for the arts. I was worried that the projects I was pushing would be ignored or shut down because of that. I didn’t expect things to turn out as they did today.” she explains.
Upon reflection, you had been so busy with trying to run a civilization that you never did take the time to endear yourself to your ministers or give them any idea what your stand would be on their particular fields. You finally arrive at your destination and stand facing your companion. She returns your cloak and you wrap it around yourself.
“Well, it’s good we had that talk. It’s good that we shared so much today,” you surmise.
“Yes. I feel like I am in a better place thanks to that! I never expected you to be so well versed in the arts,” Ahuiliztli replies.
“Oh, I could never hope to do what you are doing, Ahuiliztli!” you freely admit. “You are the expert on the subject and I am a mere admirer of your product!”
Ahuiliztli smiles demurely. You can see in the moonlight that her cheeks have blushed with embarrassment. You touch the bottom of her chin with your index finger and tilt her head up to meet your gaze.
“You should be proud of your accomplishments! Not everyone could manage what you’ve done, let alone with no support.”
Again Ahuiliztli gives you a happy grin.
“I do not deserve your praise, Excellency… I only do what I can to serve.”
“What did I tell you before? Call me Personal,” you say calmly.
“Yes, Personal...”
Ahuiliztli turns to her door, looking away from you. As she enters the opening, she pauses, caught in a thought. She turns to you with a sincere look of nervous energy.
“Would you…” she starts to say, but hesitates. She looks at you curiously, as if contemplating how you would respond to her question. You give her a reassuring smile but remain silent. “Would you like to come in?” She almost darts her head away again, knowing full well what the invitation implies. Instead she braces herself and keeps her eyes on you, hoping the darkness masks her nervousness.
Ahuiliztli had told you earlier that she was still getting over the loss of her husband and that romantic relations with her would have to wait until she moved past that trauma. Now, here she is, inviting you into her home. From her demeanor, it doesn’t appear to be for a simple cup of coffee or the Aztec equivalent. You debate whether it really is too soon and if she is just being spurred by the moment. It was a perfect evening of fun and entertainment and it would be a shame to ruin the memory with a bad encounter here. Then you think back to the dance you shared; Her lithe body, soft and vibrant, brushing up against yours; The glow she gave off with her winning smile. You cannot deny her attractiveness and feel the chemistry between you. Your prick jerks awake at the memory of Ahuiliztli’s bouncy round ass shaking in front of your face. You wanted to take her then and there, but respected her wishes. She’s looking at you enticingly, with an open door to her home and bedroom. Should you respect her wishes here?
Will you take Ahuiliztli’s invitation?
