Chapter 3 by Eismann Eismann

Waking up

You wake up. The first thing you feel is cold stone floor on your bare skin. You start moving and feel shackles on your wrists and ankles and the rattling of chains over the ground. There also was a heavy metal collar around your neck. As you slowly open your eyes, blinking against the torchlight, you can finally see your surroundings. The floor you're laying on is in a 10 by 10 hole with walls about four feet high, but the cave around you is much larger. It appears to be a sort of foxhole with the floor of the larger cave being elevated four feet above. The collar locked around your neck has a long chain that is anchored in the middle of your little hole around a metal stake driven into the stone. It leaves you room to move, but you cannot reach the edge of the hole.

The cold of the floor and restraints has already sunk into your body. Instinctively you curl up and start rubbing your body with your hands, when you hear steps approaching. Heavy steps of bare feet on the stone floor above. Your eyes wander to the edge of the hole and you see two large orcs walking towards you. Their large muscular frames and grey skin were only covered by ragged loincloths, in the belt of which they carried whips. "Told ya, I heard her move!", the smaller one said to the other while playfully punching his shoulder. "Boss said no joking.", the bigger one growled back and then turned his attention to you. "You there, you **** now. You forget name, you be good ****. If good you get blanket, if not you be cold.", he seems to have difficulties stringing that many words together and had clearly rehearsed this many times.

"Now, what are you?", he says after a brief pause.
