Waking up in a dark room

You blearily wake up, head pounding and entire body feeling drained. You hadn't felt this way getting the nanobots and it was not a feeling you missed. You lay there a few seconds, before realizing you are no longer in Dr. Sapphires lab, but on a small cot in small mostly empty room. About fifteen by fifteen square feet, there is the bed you are lying on, as well as a sink and toilet in the corner. A heavyset door stands opposite of bed, the only discernible exit to the room.

A painful throb surges through your brain. God, you head hurts. You can barely remember anything, your most recent memories fuzzy with confusion. You think the last thing that happened to you was Dr. Sapphire taunting you as Zatanna lay on the floor.

"Zatanna." You mutter under your breath. She might be hurt. You move to get up, but the pain overwhelms you and you retreat to the comfortable position of lying on your back. But no, you can't just lay here while your first superheroine partner is missing in action. You strain once again, and manage to rise to a sitting position through a flurry of pain. Wincing in pain, you close your eyes and center your mind to focus on the pain. It doesn't disappear, but it does fade into a dull throb.. Continuing your deep breaths, you slowly rise to your feet, and notice for the first time that you are clothed only in your underwear. Why were you stripped? Was this a tool from Dr. Sapphire to ensure you weren't going to try to escape? If it was, it wouldn't work. You had nothing to be ashamed.

You push the thought aside and set upon walking towards the big door. As you get closer you can see that it is a rusting cast iron, and almost reaches to the ceiling. You set your hand on the cold handle and push it down.

Surprised, the see the door easily swing open. Even with its imposing architecture, the greased hinges are well practiced, and it hardly makes a sound. You glance down each hall, the one on your left seems to end in a wall after about fifty feet while the right has some light in the distance.

Choosing to follow the light, you tread down the hall, taking focus to keep your gait silent. After all, you don't know where you are, for all you know Dr. Sapphire could have sold you to some other villain to experiment on you for the rest of your days. You weren't going to let that happen, however, you were going to find Zatanna, and escape from here, no matter what.

Suddenly, you hear some muffled voices up ahead. You pause, and determine that it is coming from a large open room up ahead. Taking a deep breath, you rush out into the room, ready to attack anyone in your way.
