Waking up as Nora (POV)

Nora woke up feeling flushed. She immediately reached for her thermometer to check her temperature. She was happy that she didn’t have a fever. She looks to her side to see a strange man sleeping in the bed with her. She quietly grabs her phone and starts dialing for the police. Yet when she looked at his face, she realized that he was her husband. Relieved, Nora got out of bed, grabbed some clean clothes from her closet, and went to her bathroom to take a shower.

When she removes all of her clothes, she hops into the shower and begins to wash away all of her sweat. As she scrubbed, she wondered why she had forgotten about her husband. She would have called the police if she hadn't remembered. Also, why was she all sweaty when she woke up? Her nightgown was all wet and she couldn't remember why. Those were the questions that lingered in her mind. When she was washing around her private areas, there was a sudden jolt and a voice saying something. She couldn’t tell whose voice it was, but she could tell that it was trying to tell her something. She was afraid to touch that spot again. She quickly washed up and got out of the shower.

After drying off and getting dressed, she started to make breakfast. Cooking always helped her to relax. Chopping the vegetables, cracking an egg, and listening to everything fry in her pan helped to calm her mind. She saw Aurora getting out of her room and into the bathroom. That was unusual for her. She usually goes straight to Alex’s room first before she heads to the bathroom. Nora hoped that her daughter was okay. She could wake Alex on her own, but she had to focus on cooking. To her surprise, Alex walked out of his room. That was more unusual to see. She knew that her son had been having trouble sleeping, so Aurora agreed to help. She hoped that he was sleeping well. Instead of going to the bathroom, he went to Aurora’s room. He knocked on the door before entering. He quickly came out of the room looking disappointed. Finally, Mary came out of her room and saw Alex. She immediately rushed towards him. She pushes him against the wall and starts saying something.

Nora couldn't hear what was being said but hoped that they wouldn’t get in a fight. Whatever was being said, Aurora appeared and was able to calm down the situation. Aurora and Mary went to the bathroom and Alex walked back to his room. Nora was happy that her children didn’t fight. She sometimes wonders if Mary hated her brother. Nora remembers a time when all her children were able to get along.

“What happened to their relationship?” she thought.

After her two daughters were finished in the bathroom, her son went in there to do his own business. Her daughters came out of their rooms and got their breakfast. Aurora eats at the table while Mary sits on the couch. Nora missed the time that everyone sat together for breakfast. Mary has grown so distant from them. Nora doesn’t know how to fix their relationship. Alex walks in fully dressed. And grabs his breakfast. Nora finishes cooking and sits to eat with her son and daughter.

It was quiet while they ate. Nora couldn't help but feel a bit worried about the tense atmosphere in their home. She wondered how to reduce the tension. Just as she was going to speak, Alex spoke first.

“Has anyone heard about the Luna Eclipse?” He asked.

Aurora spoke next. “No, and what about this Luna Eclipse?”

“Well I saw on my phone that there's one coming, so I was wondering about taking a trip to see it.”

“When is it?”

“The Luna Eclipse is in three weeks.”

“No, that week is when you have finals.”

“Come on, It’s a Luna Eclipse. It’s not like we see one every day. This can be a good family bonding moment.”

“Really? I don't think it’s a good idea. Right, Mom? Mom?”

As her two children argued, Nora's body became tense and her breathing became heavy. She had her hands balled into a fist to prevent her from touching herself. She could feel that her vagina was leaking. The voice from before was speaking more clearly than before. It kept repeating the name, Luna.

Aurora tapped her shoulder and spoke in a soft voice. “Mom, are you okay?”

Nora looked at her daughter and put on a brave face. She said, “Of course, Aurora. I just need to pee, so if you excuse me.”

She moved fast to reach the bathroom. Then lock the door. She sat on the toilet to try to calm down. She wondered what was going on with her body. She felt more aroused than ever.
