Waking Wolf

You're not quite sure how long you spend resting with Fiona, carefully and comfortably holding her warm body in your arms as you doze in and out of consciousness. However, when you finally do awaken you find that the sun has long ago sunk beneath the horizon and not a single soul has discovered your little tryst upon the hill. Yawning softly you allow yourself to feel a small bit of relief as you regain your bearings on the world, your perception and thoughts gradually shifting into place as you shake off the last vestiges of slumber.

It is after a moment or two of this that you find yourself surprisingly warm despite the darkness of the night, the answer being a slightly repositioned Fiona gently curled into your form. Instead of having her back to your stomach you are now chest to chest with your lover, her feminine frame pressed tightly against your own masculine makeup with her arms casually wrapped around your form and her nose ever so sweetly tucked into the crook of your neck. You can't help but smile at the scene, the full pale moon casting down its silver rays upon your sweet lupine lover as she nuzzles into you even in her sleep. Listening closely you hear her mumble something into your neck, her lips curling upward into a contented smile as she tightens her hold around your body and for the briefest of moments you feel the soft fluttering kiss of her tongue upon your skin.

It is almost a shame to move her, her cute charms and radiant beauty seemingly accentuated by the dim yet romantic light of the moon. Yet, all good things must eventually end and with a gentle shake of your arms you whisper into your lovers ear, "Fiona? We need to get up now."

Instantly Fiona moans in protest, her face lowering deeper into your chest as she mutters something unintelligible into your body. It is then that her eyes, the last discernible feature of her face that you can see, open and those shimmering golden pools gaze at you with a look of love...and something else...
