Wake up in a disoriented daze...

You sit up sharply to the sound of your phone ringing.

"Wha...?" You glance around, realizing you're on the floor. Your phone sits next to you, vibrating loudly against your hardwood floor. You reach out, picking it up. The time reads 1:45pm...

Wait. Didn't you have work at 10?! You swallow before answering, knowing now who it was. "H-hello?"

"Don't you 'h-hello' me, you know why I'm calling." A gruff voice on the other end barks. Your manager was extremely angry with you. "Tell me right now why I shouldn't fire you."

You stammer for a moment before putting together what happened. "I-I... I think I passed out? I had been looking at something at the computer and woke up on the floor to my phone ringing... Th-This won't happen again, so pl--"

"It BETTER not happen again, or I'll make you regret it. I run a business here, not a club. You don't get to just saunter in whenever you dang well feel like it, understood? Just come in ON TIME tomorrow."

"Y-yes boss..." You sigh in defeat as your manager hangs up on you, resting your head against the arm of your computer chair. What had happened? You got an email from X... then you looked at it... and...

You quickly glance up towards your computer, eyes widening when you find that the email page is open, but the email from X was gone. When you get up and check into it further, you realize that even the download has disappeared! You know you couldn't have imagined it all, or you would have made it to work. Not to mention, your head feels strangely full, especially behind your eyes and in your throat...
