Waiting

Using the blanket to clean the blood from his hands whilst he stood there... Observing the 2 guards as they paced around, wondering why they took him killing those men so casually.

He pondered as he gradually hid his body from the rising sun.

Even Neal might not have known but after the changes to his body the guards surtily knew.

Just standing there somehow gave him the air of a king, forcing the guards to keep to themselves as his towering physique, was surrounded by body's.

Plus the fact those red eyes that rattled thier spines. So all they did was stand around trying to look busy in silence.

Unfortunately at this point the sun was on full display when a group of soldiers finally arrived on horse back.

Once they all came to a holt, one jumped off and scampered over to the little curtain.

"Ma'am, sorry we are late" the red faced man said almost kneeling.

There was silence for a while.

Until the women said "just get me up and moving"

Quickly bowing "yes ma'am, right away ma'am"

With a click from his hand.

A group of soldiers walked out and all together lifted the carriage whilst a few of them replaced the broken wheel.

"Ma'am we're just hooking the new horses then we'll escort you back to the lord's house"

Soon they began moving, but this was where every single one of the soldiers held their breath.

Whilst menouvered the carriage around the body's, trying to not to make it an uncomfortable ride for their guest.

Soon however the carriage began to float, almost hovering above all the body's surprising Neal and the rest watching.

But that also left a sour taste in his mouth from the display of power.

Neal watched the carriage gently touch the ground, which was when they continued on their way.

Neal made sure to stay behind them all, just keeping them within an eye shot.

A couple days go by where Neal never felt like sleeping, so he observed, the setting up their tents, lightning thier fires and listened to their story's as he tried to understand the world.

After everyone went off to sleep he would rest underneath trees, keeping his vigalence because these past nights he would feel a presence watching him.

However when he tried looking for it, in that moment it would vanish.

Thankfully he could stop worrying as they reached a city, that the soldiers called Arers.

And as he was leave the large group to find he way around, someone called out his name.

Turning around Neal saw a soldier walking over.

"Sir, Madam would like to speak with you"

Glancing down at the soldier Neal said "Why?"

The soldier hiccuped due to such a response but continued "I may not no what Madam wants to speak about, but please go see her"

Neal gestured to the soldier to show him, and the soldier obliged.

Watching the soldier walk up to the carriage door whispered into the curtain.

Soon Neal saw the door swing open which lead the soldier waving him to walk in.
