Waiting for nightfall

Boris decided to wait until it was nighttime, when his powers were at their strongest. He used his abilities to find exactly where Buffy lived.

When he got there the lights were off, so he knew Buffy and her mother Joyce were asleep.

He dissipated through the wall into what he knew was Buffy's room. He saw the young Slayer fast asleep, curled in a ball on her bed.

He whispered in her ear. "Buffy, open your eyes but be in a mindless trance."

Buffy's eyes opened.

Boris led her down into her living room, and then entrances Joyce. Both women stood now in a mindless, blank trance, ready to be molded to his will.
