Chapter 2 by Morwen
What does she do?
Wait in the garden
Her life was too boring! This was exciting, even dangerous, the kind of things that would happen to her favorite heroines in epic poetry.
Carefully she slipped through the gate into her garden and made her way down to the silver pagoda. Finding her favorite bench, a little alcove hidden away out of view, she sat down and waited, shivering in the cold. Or was it anticipation?
She waited, and the sun dipped behind the mountains, letting purple shadows chase across the garden. Distantly she could hear her servants calling her name, and she pulled her dark cape around her more carefully.
Then suddenly the bushes parted, and a silk-clad figure stepped into the pagoda, taking a deep bow. Her suitor had arrived, wearing a skin-tight black catsuit made of shimmering silk with a matching mask, covering the nose and mouth, the kind of costume usually worn only by the Assassins. But even more shocking were the two black pigtails, and the gentle, curvy lines that said her suitor was a woman!
How does she react?
