You can’t believe your luck, if luck is what this is. Apparently you are cool enough to hang with CCL’s finest. You don’t want to risk not being here when they come back, so you had better just stay.

The bathroom door is open, and there’s a light on inside. You check it out, finding that someone has obviously just taken a very luxurious bath. There’s a hint of sex in the damp air too, so they must have had a nice time. You picture Amy in that classy bathtub, just her face and shoulders showing, but her shoulder giving it away, the motion of her hand as she rubs herself down there. Is that what she does? That’s what you would do if you had this great bathroom to yourself.

There’s some water on the floor, and a towel missing. Amy’s collection of candles is amazing.

You wander back into the room and go to the window. It’s terrible out there. Some of the others who don’t live here, like Dorothy and Tracy were probably hoping to catch a break so they could head home, but that’s not going to happen.

You smile at the thought. CCL is nothing if not welcoming. There will be a… warm bed for any girl stranded here, you are sure. In fact, you’d be out there trying to be hospitable if you weren’t in here, hoping to get lucky with the two coolest girls you know.

There’s a quiet tap at the door.

You head over. “Who is it?” you ask without opening it.

There’s a long pause.

“Is Amy with you?” Aki asks softly from the other side of the door.

“No, it’s just me,” you reply. “But she’ll be back.”

You can see a shadow under the door. It disappears. So Aki didn’t even say anything back? Weird.

You go back to pacing as the minutes drag by. You can be very patient when you’re giving someone a detailed tattoo, but at times like this? You are not good at this kind of waiting. You have to do something.
