Wait for Adonis and Cheryl

Minutes ticked by as I sat down on the floor waiting for Adonis to come back with Cheryl. Even with all this newfound wealth, I wasn't some snobbish individual to think that the floor has become above me for sitting.

Looking up from my phone, I frown from what was taking Adonis so long. Deciding maybe he was working his magic, I decided it was best to wait a bit more.

15 minutes later, I got bored of staring at my phone and decided to take a look.

Shuffling down the hall, as I neared I heard sounds coming from Cheryl's office.

‘What could it be?’ I wondered.

Taking slow, soft, and careful steps, I inched toward the room, the sound becoming clearer and clearer. As I peeked into the crack left open, my eyes widened at the scene before me.
