Wait and see.

As much as you just want to wave your hand and fix this for her, you can't bring yourself to do it. Primarily because you don't want to unknowingly mess things up. Even in the game, there were a multitude of possible endings for this scene. And now that it was a true world before you, there could be any number of them. But honestly? You just wanted to know what Ilyanna would do, especially since she now had power far beyond what she would've under regular circumstances.

You watch as she paces around the library, mumbling quietly to herself. You can practically hear her thinking from all the way on the other side of the building. You know, disregarding the fact that you actually can hear her thoughts. Honestly, it's adorable.

But, true to form it doesn't take long for her to formulate a plan.

"I'm ready. Send me back," she says.

"Are you sure?"

"Absolutely... not. Not even a little," she said, "But I have an idea of most of what I need to do, and I'll have you to help me get there."

You smile.

"You will indeed. Though I must confess," you say as you wrap your arms around her, "I'd much rather keep you here for good. It's been so hard, living in the Fade all alone for millennia. Now that I have someone to share it with, I can hardly bear to send you back."

"I know what you mean. But, we have work to do out there. And once it's done you'll have me all to yourself," she says, a sultry look in her eye.

You chuckle, "I'll be holding you to that."

"Goodbye for now, my love."
