In this world...
WHAT'S OWEN HART DOING IN THE IMPACT ZONE?!
In this timeline, Owen Hart didn't die at Over the Edge on May 23, 1999.
He still fell, but it was only from 13ft instead of 78ft, which while still bad, is survivable. Also, in a rare moment of humanity, Vince McMahon actually cancelled the event and gave everyone refunds.

After some intensive surgery & therapy, Owen returned to action on the December 11th, 2000 edition of Monday Night Raw, receiving a MASSIVE pop.
Owen would continue wrestling for WWE - though in a lower card capacity - and would be traded to SmackDown in 2002 as part of the first ever WWE Draft where he would remain until being released from the company in 2005; his last televised appearance being the #3 entrant in the Royal Rumble match where he would stay-in for around 16 minutes before being eliminated by Shelton Benjamin. In that time he would be involved in some excellent feuds & matches, especially with guys like Dr. of Thuganomics-era John Cena, Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio.
After his release, Owen would work the Indies - including ROH where he had a dark match with a young CM Punk in May 2005, a match that a lucky fan managed to record on his video camera and then uploaded to YouTube on January 21, 2009 you can watch in glorious 360p quality and currently has 12 million views...

before signing with TNA in 2006, debuting for the company on April 23rd during the main event of their Lockdown PPV where he helped Sting's Warriors defeat Jeff Jarrett's Army.
He would stay in the Impact! Zone - under his "Black Hart" gimmick - until finally retiring from the business altogether in 2009, his final match taking place on the February 12th edition of Impact!.
This means that if you were a TNA fan at the time in this universe, you could've gotten to see
"The Black Hart" Owen Hart

vs.
"Perc Angle"

for the TNA World Championship at the main event of Bound for Glory 2007 on pay-per-view!
He also had many memorable bangers with the likes of Sting, Samoa Joe, and A.J. Styles. Not to mention his numerous on-air bangers with the TNA Knockouts!

Sadly, Owen died on July 12, 2009 at the age of 44. He was on his way to do a special appearance at a wrestling-charity event for children with special needs in Toronto when a truck driver - too distracted by the woman riding him to realize he had the red light - collided with Owen's car, killing him instantly.
Since this was on a Sunday, the next night on Raw was a tribute show honoring his memory. TNA would hold a similar tribute show a few days laters. This incident eventually led to Canada outlawing car sex and the creation of the #dontsexanddrive campaign in the U.S.

Owen's legacy lives on as his two kids - Athena and Oje - became professional wrestlers themselves; with Oje performing in New Japan and later AEW and Athena performing in TNA.
Owen was inducted into the 2019 WWE Hall of Fame as a member of the Hart Foundation.
