Volume 2 - At the Cabin (In-Progress)

Chapter 3 by Duskford Duskford

Author’s note: Welcome to the second volume of my Azure Rocks series, “At the Cabin”, I’m glad to have you here. Okay, so this will cover what another group of characters was doing during part of the summer. You probably don’t need to read “Volume 1: Lost Camera” to understand this one, but once we get to the start of the school year for all the characters, it’ll be recommended that all the summer stories are read before proceeding with it. I hope you enjoy it!

CHAPTER 1 - Best Friends Forever

A long, relaxed humming noise could be heard in that white-tiled bathroom amidst the falling water from the shower splashing against the floor. The young woman closed her emerald-green eyes as she let the water cascade down her slightly toned body, the droplets pooling around the mounds of her medium-to-large breasts before continuing down the path to her flawless pink core, keeping the blonde curls damp. Her golden-blonde hair was darkened and plastered to her back as she let a brief, pleased sigh at the warm, steaming water enveloping her naked frame. The song coming from her phone made the eighteen-year-old girl sway her hips and hum along with it.

Sun is shinin' in the sky, there ain't a cloud in sight,
It's stopped rainin', everybody's in the play,
And don't you know,
It's a beautiful new day? Hey!

Victoria Walker continued swaying as she poured liquid soap onto her hands, rubbed them together and then reached back to her round, bubble butt. Her hands soaped up the firm, juicy cheeks, not leaving any spot of the smooth rosy skin uncovered before she suddenly turned around to let the water wash down the soap as she impulsively decided to sing along with the song.

Mr. Blue Sky, please tell us why,
You had to hide away for so long, so long!
Where did we go wrong?

She continued humming out the rest as she turned off the faucet and stepped out of the shower on that warm Saturday morning. Other songs came and went as she did the whole routine of drying herself and her hair, then applying beauty products on herself before she picked up the outfit she had selected for the trip. That morning, Victoria and her friends would head to the lake cabin that belonged to one of her best friends’ family, to spend a few days there as they did every summer.

First, she pulled on a comfortable cotton set of bra and panties, white in color, covering her breasts and her privates, but not before she checked if her pubic hair needed another trim. The golden upside-down triangle above her labia looked fine to her, though. Then she put on a sleeveless light-green top, mindful of the heat outside, and tied the bow at the back of her neck, under her curtain of slightly wavy blonde tresses. Next was a pair of jeans that she had to wiggle back-and-forth for some time at the end so it could pass over her asscheeks.

This always gets stuck, maybe I should buy some bigger pants when I get back, she mused before slipping her shapely feet into a pair of green flip-flops.

Letting out a sigh, Victoria, or Vicky as her friends usually called her, parked in front of the sink and started applying some light makeup on her gorgeous features. She had always loved joining Heather at the Ravers Cabin since they were kids, but as the girls grew up, those trips began getting increasingly uncomfortable for the young woman. It started to revolve around boys way too often once they hit their teens, until two summers ago, when Heather finally decided to have sex with an older friend of hers during the trip. That escalated the situation and made last year’s trip borderline unbearable for Victoria, who had no rush about getting involved with boys and certainly wasn’t interested in casual experiences devoid of any meaning.

Still, they were best friends forever. Victoria, Heather, and Ashley, and she vowed to never let anything change that.

Walking back into her room, she smiled at the sight of her napping pet, the fluffy-white cat, Coco. Her room was the epitome of organization, being painted in a light lilac color. One of the main features was a desk that had notebooks and books neatly stacked next to her laptop. An avid reader, she had a few other shelves filled from top to bottom with books, which ranged from academic works to her favorite fictional novels. A large bed occupied a corner of the room, with a nightstand to the right side and a dresser at the front, which had a TV on top of it. By the window, there was a comfortable couch where she liked to curl up with a book, and it was where Coco was currently sleeping, despite the nearby cat bed. Doors led into the closet and the bathroom she just came out of.

After she did a quick last check of the suitcase she had prepared for the trip, she approached Coco with a tender smile, sitting down beside the cat as her fingers caressed the white fur.

“Be good to Mom, okay, Coco?” She cooed at the feline, who opened her blue eyes and stared back at her human. “I know you and June are partners in crime whenever she’s here, but make it easy for Mom. She’s not doing good.”

Coco let out a soft meow at the blonde teenager, and so, after a long hug, Victoria gave her cat one last smile for the next five days and picked up her suitcase. She wanted to take her laptop too, but Heather always insisted on a phones-only policy for emergencies during those trips, as her friend wanted everyone to have fun doing things they didn’t do at home. Making her way out of the bedroom and down the stairs, she found her mother pouring over some documents on the kitchen table.

“Hey, Mom,” she smiled, stopping by the doorway. “So, I’ll be going now.”

Olivia Walker, basically an older version of her daughter at forty-two, both in looks and the shape of her frame, gave her a small smile in return. “It’s okay, honey,” she walked over to her daughter and briefly embraced her. “You got everything?”

“Yeah, checked three times,” the younger blonde nodded, noticing how tired her mother looked. The sale of forty-nine percent of their town’s newspaper, which had belonged to the family since its foundation more than a hundred years ago, was weighing heavily on her parents. “Dad’s already gone to the paper? I was hoping to say goodbye to him too.”

“Well, don’t mind it, you can always video call him later,” Olivia chuckled before she regarded her daughter with a fond look on her face, the same emerald-green eyes locking on one another. “I’m so glad I don’t need to tell you to behave yourself.”

That made the daughter laugh for a moment before she ended up sighing. “I kinda hate these trips now, Mom.”

Olivia gave her another hug, soothingly rubbing the younger girl’s back. “Oh, honey, I know. But you need to enjoy these times with your friends while you still can. You still don’t know if you’re heading to the same college next year,” she said. “You’ve always been strong-willed, I have no doubts you’ll pull back of any situation you don’t like. I’m not worried.”

“Thanks, Mom,” Victoria replied, her voice muffled by her mother’s neck before she pulled back. “I see June and James aren’t here either,” she raised an eyebrow. She knew that her older sister had slept at a friend’s house, but her little brother’s absence was a surprise.

“Your dad actually took him to the office this morning,” Olivia chuckled. “It’s Saturday, there’s not much work.”

“Okay, now I’ll really need to give them a call later,” the daughter grinned, and then hugged her mother a third time. “I’ve got to go now. Bye, Mom,” she said. “See you in five days, or maybe a video call too?”

“That’d be lovely, Victoria,” Olivia nodded with a big smile. “Now go, Ashley must be wondering where you are.”

“Well, she can just cross the street,” Victoria replied and waved at her mother as she carried her suitcase outside on the lawn.

The Oceanic Bay neighborhood was an upper-middle class one, with nice, big houses, and perfectly-mowed lawns. The Walkers lived at the Atlantic Drive street, and just across the street, there was the house of the Woodsen family. Victoria put her suitcase in the backseat of her dark-green coupé and walked over to her best friend’s home. Where the Walker’s house was mostly white and more traditional, the Woodsen’s had some stony and wooden details, giving it a more modern look.

The young woman had taken this exact same walk across the street countless times since she was a little kid. With her mother and Ashley’s father being high school classmates and friends, it ensured the two girls would be close from the moment they were born. As she rang the doorbell, Victoria thought that Ashley had just returned from a trip to a touristic beach town in Florida with her family and would be jumping straight into another one.

I could never, she smiled to herself as the door opened.

“Hey, Vicky!” A petite blonde with long blonde hair and crystal-blue eyes launched herself into her best friend’s arms. “I missed you, come in!”

Victoria stepped into the Woodsens’ home, realizing at once that her friend’s parents and older sister weren’t home, judging by the relative silence. “I missed you too,” she grinned. “So, how was Emerald Shores? I didn’t get much from your texts, but the photos in your Pulse made it look really fun.”

The Pulse was the leading social media network in the world, functioning both as a photo album and blog. Almost every teenager and adult had an account, with different levels of interest depending on the person. Vicky herself didn’t update hers too often, as she didn’t care much for showing herself and her life off.

“Oh, I’ll tell you and Heather all about it! It was fun, despite Hannah,” Ashley giggled. “C’mon to my room, I’m still packing.”

Victoria refrained from rolling her eyes, much in part because she knew her friend had just returned from a trip and it made sense that she didn’t have the time to pack for another one so soon, but yeah…, Ashley could be a little carefree with appointments and scheduled times, and she was used to it.

As they made their way upstairs, Victoria once again noticed the calmness around the place. “It’s way too quiet here, Ash,” she commented. “Where’s the… uhn… menace?”

Ashley turned on her with a cute frown. “Prince’s not a menace,” she huffed, hands going to her hips. “He’s napping in the backyard, enjoying the sun. Poor boy got drained after we picked him up last night, I don’t think I’ve seen a dog so excited.”

“Sure, yeah, excited,” Victoria commented warily.

They entered Ashley’s bedroom, a girly room painted in a pastel pink color. Ashley herself was wearing a powder-blue tank top and denim shorts over her athletic, toned body sculpted by years of dancing and cheerleading, and a pair of blue flip-flops on her feet. There was a suitcase and a backpack on the bed, both open and full of stuff.

“I’m almost finished, by the way,” the shorter blonde told her friend. “Just gotta make sure I’m not forgetting anything.”

“Uh-huh,” Victoria sat down on a couch as she watched her friend bustling around the room. “So, who else is going? Heather wasn’t too sure last night.”

“Hmm, I think Juniper’s a go. Tanya couldn’t make it and Madison isn’t back yet,” Ashley responded.

“And Donna?” Vicky inquired with an almost imperceptible smile.

Ashley turned to face her bestie with an amused grin. “Like Heather would ever invite Donna,” she ended up laughing. “Well, you know Josh’s obviously going, and Heather said Andrew’s coming from Quartz City.”

That made Victoria wince, Andrew was the older friend of Heather’s that she enjoyed having sex with during those cabin trips, making things awkward for all the other guests.

“Oookaay,” Vicky grimaced. “Anyone else?”

“Dunno,” Ashley shrugged before her eyes widened as she remembered one last detail. “Oh, Heather was kinda grumpy ‘cause her mother was making her take that cousin of hers from Sunrise Hills.”

Victoria squinted her face as she tried to remember. “Uhn…, Kurt, wasn’t it?”

“Yeah, I think so,” Ashley nodded. “We haven’t seen him in what? Four, five years?”

“Must be it. Goodness, Heather must be furious, she absolutely hates him,” the green-eyed blonde commented. She wondered what that would mean for the rest of them, if Heather would be even more prone to fuck her fury away with Andrew.

“Yeah, she definitely isn’t happy about it. But well, she doesn’t know if he’s actually going yet, so…,” Ashley ended the sentence with another shrug as she zipped up her light-blue backpack.

“We’ve got Uncle Robert’s party tonight too,” Victoria groaned. “Heather mentioned it to you, right?”

“Uh-huh,” Ashley nodded. “Don’t worry about it, though,” she smiled at her bestie’s obvious discomfort. “It’s just a few other cabin owners. Heather said her dad couldn’t cancel or move it.”

“Yeah,” the non-cheerleader blonde said, getting to her feet as she saw that her friend had closed up her pink suitcase as well. “All done?”

“Yep, let’s go,” Ashley beamed, the backpack strapped to her back and the suitcase in her hand.

The two girls went down the stairs, but once they got to the foyer, Ashley put her suitcase on the floor and turned to Victoria. “Hold on, I gotta say goodbye to Prince.”

“Oh,” Vicky’s eyes slightly widened, but she followed her friend, ignoring her best judgment. “Will he be okay by himself here?”

“He’ll be fine. Mom and Dad will be back soon, and like I said, he’s pretty beat from last night,” the petite blonde replied as they walked over to the backyard, a grassy area with tall wooden fences, and a pool toward one of the sides. “There he is.”

Victoria found the spot Ashley was pointing at, and surely enough, on a corner of the deck, a small white Pug was sleeping quite soundly. Once his ears caught the sound of his owner walking to him, though, his dark eyes opened up, and like a lightbulb being turned on, Prince instantly got to his paws and shot off like a rocket. Toward her, bypassing Ashley completely.

“Prince, no!” Both girls screamed, but it was too late.

The small dog was already latched to Victoria’s left leg, humping away. “Aaaaash! Get him off me!” She cried out, trying to shake the dog off her captured leg.

“Oh, fuck! Sorry, Vicky!” Ashley was on her in an instant, grabbing her dog and pulling him away from her friend, her own cheeks pink in embarrassment. “Prince, bad doggy! How many times did I tell you not to do that?!”

Victoria let out a sigh as she watched her best friend berating the dog. Ashley had gotten Prince two years ago, and for some reason he had taken to constantly humping all the women around him, except Ashley herself. Vicky had kind of gotten used to it, but it wasn’t any less mortifying. “Now you know why I wore pants.”

Ashley just looked back at the other blonde with a sheepish smile, the adorable Prince in her arms with his tongue out as if he hadn’t done anything wrong.

A few minutes later, the two blondes were in Victoria’s car, in one of the wealthiest, most exclusive neighborhoods of Azure Rocks, pulling up to the always imposing Ravers Manor. The tall iron gates emblazoned with two lions facing each other could intimidate some people, but not those two, they had been there countless times since they were kids to meet the third part of their little trio. The gates opened to allow them to drive into the property, crossing the front path with arching trees on each side, until they reached the courtyard and finally the driveway in front of the rather large mansion, a building made mainly of black and dark-gray stone blocks. Vicky killed the engine next to the decorative fountain before she stepped out of the car.

“Hey, you two, you’re almost late, you know that?” An amused voice drawled, accompanied by the trademark sexy smirk perfected over the course of many years.

“I didn’t know we had a set time to leave,” Victoria chuckled while Ashley exchanged a hug with their other best friend.

“Touché, Vicky,” Heather Ravers laughed, making her quite large breasts bounce a bit under the black tank top.

Heather was a stunning pale beauty envied by pretty much every girl in their school who wasn’t friends with her. With striking raven-black hair that framed her exquisite features, those electric-blue eyes of hers were sharp and could read anyone in a matter of seconds. Add to that a perfectly toned body that certainly helped her win the election for new cheer captain at the end of their previous school year. Her pale legs were in a quite short pair of denim shorts and her feet were encased in white sandals.

“I want a full report of Emerald Shores during our drive to the cabin, okay?” She requested Ashley. Not only did she want to know what her friend had been up to, but she was also interested in the Woodsens’ experience at the new unit of her family resort that had been recently opened at the beach town down south.

“Hey, I’ve kept you informed,” Ashley grinned as they let go of each other.

Heather smirked once again. “A text can never replace face-to-face conversations, Ash.”

Victoria noticed there was another girl standing a few feet away from them, observing the many plants in the courtyard. “Oh, hello, Juniper.”

“Hey, girls!” The fit sandy-blonde-haired girl grinned at them, coming closer so she could hug Ashley, a fellow cheerleader, as well. “Is everyone excited? I really can’t wait for us to get there,” her toned body basically vibrated as she talked, animation written all over her face. Her toned body rocked a pink crop top and daisy-dukes, with white flip-flops on her feet. Despite being friends with Heather for a few years now, it would be her first time joining their summer trip to the cabin.

“Yeah, it’s gonna be really fun,” Ashley commented. “There’s so much we can do! The cabin, the lake, and ooooh… we can go on hikes too, there’s this beautiful waterfall we checked out a few times.”

Juniper Bronwen’s grayish-blue eyes widened in excitement. “Oh, fuck, Heather! You gotta take us there, please!”

“We’ll see, Jun,” the brunette let out a chuckle at her nature-loving friend. “I think the weather’s gonna hold, so we’ll probably go to the park tomorrow. Or the day after, I dunno.”

Ashley nodded in agreement before her eyebrow raised in confusion and she looked around. “Hey, where’s Josh?”

“Don’t tell me he decided not to go again?” Victoria inquired as well.

Heather just rolled her eyes. “Nah, he’s just checking his stuff for the tenth time,” she answered, but then grinned as she caught sight of movement at the mansion’s tall double doors. “Ah, there he is.”

Pulling a silver suitcase down the steps was a scrawny young man with short, kind of curly dark-brown hair and the same electric-blue eyes Heather possessed. Eighteen, just like all the four girls outside, he was Heather’s cousin, the son of her father’s older brother. They both lived at the Manor.

“Uhn…, hey, everyone,” Josh meekly greeted, avoiding Victoria’s gaze at all costs. He was wearing a black, short-sleeved t-shirt, brown shorts, and a pair of black sneakers.

“Hi, Josh!” Ahley instantly threw her arms around him for a quick hug, making the boy flinch a little. “I gotta tell you all about Emerald Shores!”

“Oh…, uhn, that’d be great,” he nervously chuckled. Being Heather’s cousin, he could be considered the fourth member of their little clique, as he had always been around them in one way or another growing up. Mustering up a bit of courage, he lifted his chin and faced his cousin’s other best friend. “Hi, Victoria.”

“Hey, Josh,” Vicky nodded with a smile. “Will be great having you with us there. We can use the time to make some plans for the paper.”

The young man instantly blushed a little. “That’d be great too,” he repeated in a mumble. Having joined the school’s newspaper two years ago to be even closer to his crush, he hadn’t exactly managed to make any progress being more at ease around her and that made him hate himself.

“Alright, you two, stop bugging poor Joshy,” Heather threw an arm around her cousin’s shoulders, the side of her large left tit pressing against his chest and making him instantly tense up. She then shifted her gaze toward the mansion’s doors again. “Why the hell are they taking so long?”

“Ashley said Andrew and Kurt were coming too?” Vicky commented on that.

“Yeah, Andrew’s inside with Dad,” the next cheerleader captain answered. “Hellspawn’s gonna meet us at the cabin.”

Juniper raised a curious eyebrow. “He’s not that bad, is he?”

Heather turned to the blonde and a smirk slowly formed at the corner of her lips. “You know what, I think you two might get along really well, Jun,” she snickered, knowing how much of a slut her friend could be. Might keep Kurt distracted, at least.

“So, how are we getting there? Will I be following your car?” Victoria asked, looking around and noticing a dark-blue SUV that looked a bit out of place in front of the mansion, if she could be honest.

“Nope,” Heather responded. “You’re gonna leave your car here and Dad’s gonna drive us all in that big-ass car over there.”

“Huh,” the green-eyed blonde nodded. “Makes sense, I guess.”

At that moment, two men stepped out of the mansion, just before an older man wearing a suit closed up the doors behind them. The two were quite handsome, if Heather could say so herself. The first one was her old friend, Andrew Nordstein, the 20-year-old son of a good friend of her father’s. He was tall, with short brown hair and gray eyes, and had come all the way from Quartz City at her request. She planned on fucking him several times a day at the cabin, whenever they could hide from her dad. Not that Robert Ravers minded his daughter having her fun, of course. Yeah, he was that kind of father.

At forty-one, Robert was quite probably the most eligible bachelor of Azure Rocks ever since he divorced Heather’s mother seven years ago. Even his relationship of two years with his personal assistant at the Ravers Resort didn’t affect that title. With short, well-combed black hair and electric-blue eyes, he was the most handsome man Heather had ever met, besides maybe her traveling older cousin, and she was sure that most of her friends agreed with that sentiment. She absolutely loved him, and wanted to follow into his footsteps to manage the resort someday.

“Victoria, Ashley! Good to see you two!” Robert’s lips parted in an easy smile as he made his way to his daughter’s best friends.

The two girls beamed at the man before he scooped up the petite Ashley for an airborne, giggling hug and then exchanged a more normal one with Victoria, ending it with a careless tap on her plump behind. Having been at the Manor so many times since they were kids, the two blondes saw their friend’s dad as some kind of second father figure.

“So, I trust everyone’s ready?” Robert inquired, taking a quick look around.

Andrew sidled up to Heather but made no mention of holding her hand or wrapping an arm around her shoulders. Their relationship was purely physical and casual, and both of them knew that. It worked and they didn’t want anything more from that. Perhaps years in the future, but not now.

“We’re taking the SUV, then?” Josh asked.

“Yeah, it makes things easier,” Robert answered his nephew’s question before a look of confusion crossed over his face. “Wait, isn’t Bella coming with us? She was inside, wasn’t she?”

“Yeah, she didn’t wanna be there for the whole trip,” Josh clarified his older sister’s status. “I think she might show up for a day or two.”

“Well, we’ll deal with that when she comes, then,” Robert smirked, and then turned to Victoria. “Vicky, I trust Heather told you the plan?”

“Oh, yes, Uncle Robert,” the blonde smiled back before Ashley followed her back to her car. They transferred their luggage to the SUV and then drove the coupé to the mansion’s garage. Once they were back and got into the large vehicle, the rather numerous group set off for the Silver Creek Park, or rather, the lake region next to it where the Ravers family had owned a cabin for many decades.
