Volleyball.

You choose volleyball.

You head over to that side of the gym which is separated by solid dividers so all the courts are separate. Volleyball wasn’t very popular and it looks like you’ll be able to divide into teams of two. You can only think about how great it would be if Alison and you were on the same team.

Alison is thin and small with a very modest chest, but she has an angelically cute face. Your notebooks are filled with pictures you’ve drawn of her.

She raises her hand to be one of the eight captains. She has second pick and to your astonishment she picks you. You head over to your court with two other girls who are friends of hers and close the door behind you. You can’t believe it. You haven’t been able to look Alison in the eyes since you met her and you’ll be with her everyday for the rest of the year. You can only hope she feels the same way about you.

“Hey, Dave.”

“Yeah Alison?”

“I’ve wanted to tell you something for a while now. I really like you. I’ve liked you for a long time, and I just couldn’t hold it inside any longer.”

“I’ve liked you since the moment I first saw you.”

“We should hang out after school then.”

“Definitely.”

“First, let’s kick these guy’s asses.”
