Volcanic smoke, a threat within a threat!

Lexi used a mental command to unsummon her chosen. Five green pillars of light descended from the sky. When the light touched her chosen, they began to descend into the ground. Her chosen bowed their heads to her before vanishing from sight. She walked over to Gloria as Bianca, Divi, Merona, and Lysossia came rushing out from the forest. Gloria glanced over at Bianca and the others before looking at the smoke in the distance. "It looks like our troubles have just begun."

Divi rushed over to Lexi, hugging her tightly. "I'm sorry I failed, daddy." Lexi softly smiled. "You didn't fail. They just came right after me instead. You did a fine job." She hugged Divi gently. "Divi, do you remember how I wanted others to call me Lexi while I'm in this form?" Divi blinked. "Yes, daddy." Lexi softly smiled. "Well, in order to be less confusing to others. I'd like you to call me, mommy, Lexi, or mommy Lexi." Divi's head tilted slightly to the side. "But my mommy is in your sneakers." Lexi's cheeks reddened as she thought about that. "Well, that's true. But, that doesn't change my reasoning."

Divi nodded slightly. "Yes, mommy." Lexi kissed the top of Divi's head. "Good girl." Divi looked toward the corpse nearby within the slightly indented ground Gloria and Zrulner had made with Trelzox's body. "Mommy, who's that?" Lexi glared at that corpse. "Do you remember that black dragon we fought the last time we were here?" Divi blinked. "Yeah?" Lexi started to walk with her and the others out of the forest toward Lex. "Well, that was his son, Trelzox. He was the one that enraged Aloemitt." Divi was watching the body was they walked away. "I understand."

Divi looked in the direction of the smoke coming out of the volcano. "Mommy, what's that?" Lexi looked up to the red eyes within the smoke. "I would assume a large creature within the mountain." Lysossia let out a gasp and her eyes widened. "I, I didn't think the rumors were true." Lexi stopped, looking over to Lysossia. "What rumors?" Lysossia looked downward. "It was something I over heard Philinna say to Chasan. I think it was the night after you left. She said that there's a powerful entity left by the Gods within the volcano. I've never seen it before, but all of my senses are telling me to flee for my life." Lexi blinked before looking back in the direction of that smoke. "Is that right?"

That was when the light began to dim from its eyes. However, something rather large began to make its way down the mountain side, leaving a large trail of lava and smoke in its wake. Merona quickly moved in front of Lexi. "Let me go first, Mistress. We don't know if it is hostile or not. Should my signal fail. You'll have your answer." Everyone looked to Lexi with concern. Lexi reached out her left hand to Merona's cheek. "All right, but don't try to provoke it, Merona." Merona leaned her cheek against Lexi's hand. Her F score ticked up to 156. "Of course, Mistress."

Merona's eyes closed a moment before turning around to run off in the direction of that large unknown creature. Lexi looked to everyone remaining. "Come on, everyone is waiting for us to join them. I've told them about that creature coming out of the mountain. Let's hope it isn't hostile." Shortly after their conversation ended, they exited the forest near Lex and the others.

From Lex's perspective as Lexi exited the forest nearby

Lex let out a soft breath as he finished hugging his children. "It'll be all right. Everyone is here now." Although they normally would have all been happy to see one another, all eyes were focused on Merona as she ran toward the large smoldering creature. Lexi moved to Lex's side as Sofia spoke. "It's hard to tell what that thing even is from this distance." To everyone's surprise, the smoldering creature didn't even slow down as Merona approached it. Merona walked out of its path while trying to communicate with it, but it continued straight toward Lex and Lexi.

Bianca tilted her head slightly. "Are we sure that thing is even alive?" Lysossia's hands gently pressed against Bianca's shoulders. "No, but I can tell you one thing for sure. It is dangerous." Lysossia said while gesturing toward the smoldering path in its wake. Lex looked to Lysossia. "Take my children with you to the edge of the forest. If things make a turn for the worst. I want you to take them to your place and keep them safe." He said while gently guiding his kids toward her.

Lysossia looked to the new faces. "Kids? Oh, um. Oh my." She glanced to Sazla. A small pout crept upon her lips as her M score dropped to 134. However, she bowed her head to Lex without a hint of hesitation. "Of course. You can count on me, your Majesty." She looked to Lex while gesturing for them to follow her toward the edge of the forest. Although Lex couldn't see this with his own eyes, Lexi saw Dempsey's eyes running along Lysossia's form from head to tail while adjusting his outfit. Lex and Lexi smirked at the same time. 'That's my boy. I wonder what he finds most attractive about Lysossia. I'll need to ask him later.'

That was when they all heard a roar emanating from the large smoldering creature heading their way. It was fairly fast to have made it all that distance within a short amount of time. It was a little over a mile to the volcano's base from here after all. Unfortunately, there was simply too much smoke exuding from its form for any of them to see what it was. It looked like the smoke coming out of a chimney was walking their way. It was truly bizarre. By this time Merona had run back over to Lexi's side. "I'm sorry, Mistress. I couldn't discover its intentions."

Lexi softly smiled. "That's all right." She glanced over to her kids. "Take everyone, except for the two slime girls, with you to the edge of the forest beside Lysossia. It would appear this thing is likely more dangerous than I expected." Lex let out a soft sigh, gaining Merona's attention. "Yes, it only seems to be after me." Lexi and Lex said at the same time. Merona's M score skyrocketed to 50 as she stared a moment longer at Lex. "Um, of course, Mistress." She said, glancing back at Lexi before doing as she was told.

If the width and height of the smoke was any indication of the size of the smoldering creature, it was quite large. Sadly however, it was simply too hard to see. When it was about ten feet away, there was another loud roar heard and the smoke around the creature spread out in all directions. The air pressure was intense and filled with heat. After a few seconds, the smoke finally cleared. They could all see a rather unexpected sight. It was a large elemental made out of smoldering black lava rocks.

The lava rock elemental's body was a little less porous than what you would expect from normal lava rock. However, it was surprising to see that its body structure, size, and posture were similar to Lex's. If Lex didn't know any better, he would have sworn this creature had shaped itself in his likeness on the way over. Oddly enough, it even had the shape of his dick. However, its face was without any real noticeable features. Lex used Observe on it to see what information he could get from it.

Lex and Lexi tilted their heads slightly to the right. 'What did I just read? That can't be right, can it?' They looked to one another then back at Pyroc with a look of disbelief upon their faces. 'Does Pyroc really want to communicate with me?' Are their assumptions correct or not?
