Vocab and Other Info

Veg-Heads: Coma victims. This phrase is more used on the streets or by the uneducated, mostly the non-scientific staff.

Coma Recover or CR: The field of study in which a person tries to rehabilitate and wake up a coma patient by CPI and sexual fantasies.

Cognitive Plug-In or CPI: This is the process of plugging ones mind into the mind of a coma patient.

Seattle Trauma Institute or STI: The largest CR and CPI facility. Located in the now nearly empty metropolitan area of Seattle, Washington.

Mental-physical: The process of adding mental stimuli that produces a fantasy that is acted out "physically" in the mind.

Hope, Hawaii: The largest concentration of survivors, and once known as the Big Island of Hawaii.

Computer Limitations: Much like when you are playing a RPG game and creating a character (think Fallout), the scientists can input all manner of perimeters into the computer to create a fantasy. Examples:

1. Gender
2. Race
3. Attitude
4. Hair color
5. Body size
6. Sexual preferences
7. Multiple partners
8. And so on...

Anything that can be thought up, can be input into the computer and downloaded into the coma patient's mind and controlled by the scientist. All CPI's are recorded and a disc is made after the session is over so that there is always a record for review.
