Visiting the Hotel

As much as she would have liked to go crawl into bed with her fellow blonde, Temari knew that she would need help protecting Naruto. Her loyalties were to him above all others, but the Fox had not removed her loyalties to Sand, especially with how much he seemed to hate their ninja. She did not have to alter the plans for the invasion in the slightest, she still had to get Naruto to trust her and then get him out of the way so that he would survive the attack.

Of course, if Naruto told her to save his village, she would jump into the battle without a second thought. And Gaara would be right behind her.

But for now, it was time for her to pick out who would be servicing her master alongside her.

With how late it was, there was only a single staff member in the hotel lobby. With a burst of her mind melting cloud, now red thanks to some help from the fox to boost her effectiveness, the man got up and walked out of the room, suddenly filled with a desire to stand in front of the mirror for the next half hour.

With the coast clear, Temari walked up to the desk and began searching through the registry for the rooms. It was unfortunate that only the Sand and the Leaf were represented here out of the 5 Great Nations, it wasn't likely any of the smaller villages would be on the same level as the participants from any of the superpowers. With Temari already working for Naruto, she would have to pick from what was available here. There was a participant from Sound that might be interesting, her father must at least see some potential in the village besides the Snake Sennin if he threw his lot in with them. Waterfall had sent a couple of teams to at least make sure their presence was remembered, but unless they snuck in a ringer then they weren't a huge concern. Sand had only sent a single team to compete, so worrying about catching any of her comrades was pointless.

From Grass...Temari paused. There was another Uzumaki present. A female one at that. Another survivor of the former strongest clan in the Whirlpool Village? She would have to add that one to her shopping list eventually, but for tonight she had limited time and would likely need her chakra for the test tomorrow.
