Viermaes' Travels, Advantages and Disadvantages

Viermaes walks for what feels like hours, barren soil cracking beneath her feet. She saves her still-weak wings for crossing the occasional crevasse.

As she travels, she thinks of her present status and her future ambitions. To begin with, she focuses on her physical form: she knows she has

(A1) mighty fire breath.

(A2) a physically imposing form.

(A3) a rare affinity for stealth.

(A4) boundless vitality and stamina.

(A5) gills and webbed feet for going underwater.

(A6) no exceptional physical characteristics (but also no weaknesses).

She then turns inward, thinking about her own mind. Here, her greatest asset is that she is

(B1) canny, able work see deceptions and planned traps, and build her own network of lies in response.

(B2) controlled, and unlikely to fall foul of her pride or any other draconic vices.

(B3) a trained mage, capable of focusing her raw energy into more than fire breath.

(B4) lucky. Things just go well for her!

(B5) extremely charismatic.

(B6) not disadvantaged in any way.

Then, if she's being honest with herself, her great weakness is that:

(C1) Her wings are weak and can't carry her for more than short hops.

(C2) She can't breathe more than a puff of smoke.

(C3) A walking example of the seven deadly sins.

(C4) Hopelessly inept at stealth and deception.

(C6) She doesn't have a weakness! (Note: unless A6 or B6 were chosen, this give Viermaes a random disadvantage with pride thrown in.)

Finally, after what feels like hours, Viermaes sees the lands ahead start to change colour. She's nearly out of the wastelands, and heading towards

(D1) the coast.

(D2) some grasslands.

(D3) a hilly region.

(D4) a forest.

(D5) the desert.
